Tbh it was only a success cuz everyone bought tickets thinking it was gonna be good. It was good, just that the plot was just slapped in and the introduction was like as if it was rushed. Plus Vanessa pretty much ruined the mystery and horror bit of the movie. Anyway, 90% of the movie is just Mike sleeping.

Listen to y'all selves, it took 14 months to build 4 animatronics, and you think they'll start filming late 2024 😭, if you've never took in consideration how long it takes to even make a screenplay then you'd wind up with filming late 2024, but if you really do the math itll take about 1-2 years to get the movie done

Man, I feel bad that Scott Cawthon didn't deserve a bad reviews from these clowns. The only thing to make it better is just following our expectations, but at least the movie is good. Let's hope they follow our expectations for the next sequel!

Considering the fnaf movie took bits from other games and tweaked it into the story of the movie while being focused on the 1st game; I can see the fnaf 2 movie being based around fnaf2 (well duh) but because it's a prequel we might actually get some hints towards sister location as Elizabeth's death is one of the things that started william aftons killing spree in the first place. Either as revenge or as a means of discovering of what remnant and agnoy could do.
Throw in the story of the original killings and new night guards just arriving and dying (which markiplier could easily play that role) until mr. schmitt arrives for the story to take place; you'll start to see plenty of story for the sequel and considering it's closer to the actual day they died; it'll be more brutal and scary.
Another theory is, since we will have our shaggy springtrap for 3 movies, I can bet the 3rd movie will be a mix of fnaf 3 and sister location; ending the movie with baby, springtrap and molten freddy all being found and brought to a new pizzaria which could end the movie series with pizzaria simulator teased and if they decide to make a 4th movie, they can just reuse lines for springtrap. But this is just a theory.
Well tbh keep in mind they need to make new animatronics as well which will also take some time before filming.

The reason critics didn’t like it was bc they were coming in expecting this movie to be a terrifier 2 type sh*t with a bunch of bloood and kills, if u told them that it was supposed to be a thriller they would prob say it wasn’t and it was supposed to be rated r, but I would guess the second movie could start filming mid spring- mid summer, and posibly come out November 2024- June 2025 and those r just guesses so ya know
