This made me laugh because I was playing this and my brother walked into the room. He's never played this and isn't familiar with the franchise. Stoned out of his mind, he was watching me play as a flaming ball with a red hat that hopped up a stream of purple vomit coming out of a large bird in a massive pot of stew. I mean, there all this stuff about peach being constantly kidnapped, but like, iirc there was a tine when bowser showed up, but she didn't feel like being kidnapped that day, so she floated him up and tossed him out the window. I wanted to like it so much, but could not.
1) The moons are so plentiful they’re pointless.
2) The stages are obscenely large and wear down their charm over the 5 hours it takes to clear one.
3) Mario’s move set is so large the game is no longer about the obstacles, and instead these huge combos.
4) New content made available comes at you in a dribble.
