i just got stray for $33 thats with tax and all
I disagree on the point that a game should be excused to be meh if it's free in a subscription service. It's still a paid game to people who don't have the subscription. Granted I won't judge the length and scale of the game compared to something like a $60 game, but this game while the catsy stuff is very cute and atmosphere is very cool, it's kinda simplistic in its mechanics and the story is also very generic. I expect ATLEAST the story to emotionally hit if the game is not mechanically complex. Also there is simply 0 replayability once you finish the game as the environment is the puzzle and there is not a lot of room to experiment.
My only complaint is I want more. Bigger world longer gametime and more interactions with the denizens and lore of the world. Game was over far too quickly. I loved every minute of it. Even the creepy eyeball walls of terror.
You’ve got good points. Played it. Game is way toooo over hyped. It is by no mean so bad but it’s not worth it’s 30 euro price. You don’t do much, there is no challenge and no feeling to replay it.
I love this game already so far. I love the story.
