In other news SpaceX launched two satellites into space yesterday and landed the rocket safely back onto a platform in the Atlantic in about the time it took my wife to take a shower. Which was about 10 min.

Rockets were to fire to soften the landing? It looks like either the rockets fired RIGHT as the capsule hit the ground or it never fired at all. I think I'd rather land in an Apollo capsule or the SpaceX's Dragon capsule.

Looks like the landing rocket didn't fire until they actually hit the ground (and then maybe even exploded instead of firing properly), potentially making things worse.
