Gotham Knights PC Graphics Tech Review – Comparison With Batman Arkham Knight, A Visual Showcase?

Arkham knight looks like a real city, the lights are bright as it should be. Arkham knight looks like its on ray tracing. Gotham Knight looks like a high end mobile game, the lights are so gloomy and dim. Gotham knights driving feel like you’re going 20 mph on a motorcycle while Arkham Knight feels like you’re going atleast 80 mph fitting that you are on a tank. The graphics literally are worse than that of Arkham Origins.

Bruh…🤦‍♂️the utter disrespect to have this trashy continuation to Arkham Knight is beyond me. Firstly, the story doesn't flow from where Arkham Knight left off. Bruce had already blown up his mansion and cave. He did not fight Ra's Al Ghul in his cave then blow it up, he revealed himself to the world then blew up his house/cave and supposedly "died"…maybe. What's even WORSE are the graphics, animations, character scripts and acting. Gooood grief, I felt like I was watching a B-movie that went straight to dvd! The voiceovers seem so robotic and forced and some of the interactactions are just unnatural altogether. I know the heavy hitter is "gone," but MAN give the sidekicks a more commanding presence and persona. Oh and they coulda did WAY better for Harley Quinn's voice. That is the deepest pitched Harley Quinn I've ever heard. Also, her lines aren't nearly as funny as prior games. Who produced this crap, woke liberals? WB Games Montrèal, you need to give EVERYTHING you've screwed up to Rocksteady Studios for reproduction and polishing. We legit need a redo for a true-to-form Arkham Knight follow up. Glad I waited for the prelim. playthroughs and reviews. #notsorry!

It's awfully ironic how much Arkham knight is praised now. Ask anyone before this game came out and they would tell you it was the worst. How does a game, not related to Arkham, suddenly make AK the goat?? It's like comparing Tekken to virtua fighter or soul caliber. This game really to me plays more like spider man as far as traversal, combat, and stealth. I got about 20 hrs in. Having a blast, despite it's shortcomings. The city is darker than AK, it's the neon lights that make it pop. And the belfry tower has a huge glow from the clocktower face. Both cities to me are beautiful.

Gotham Knights definitely looks a lot cleaner… but Gotham isn't supposed to look clean. Arkham Knight's Gotham looks a lot grittier… which is how it's meant to be. Hard to see the 7 year gap between these two games. Either Arkham Knight was ahead of its time or Gotham Knights is behind… only running at 30fps on current gen would say it's very behind, so 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think you have mistaken here. Not only Arkham Knight is visually stunning, while Gotham Knights look like, what is the name of the Ubisoft engine they make all their Far Cry and AC games for 10 past years? But also please, take a look at the System requirements of Arkham Knight and this one. Is there a reason for such a huge leap if you have to use the looking glass to find differences?

Even the facial animation is on par with The Last of Us 2013 and I'm not exaggerating.

I can't stop playing Gotham knights. The animation and the realistic lighting (water, too) have really drawn me in. I can't get over the level of immersion in a more realistically realized Gotham with neon clouds and highlights of color all over it. I mean, I love Warhammer and seriously gothic Gotham design choices but this is my favorite Gotham and I am very surprised to say that. This game is completely game changing for me but to each their own. I have always loved games like war in the north that play well single player but can be joined by others. Noone criticizing Gotham knights ever talks about the coop and its so fucking frustrating at thus point. The devs didn't sell out the animations are INSANE. the suits are gorgeous – all of them.

Arkham Knights looks like PC and Gotham Knights looks like the Wii U. There is no way this game looks better than the 2015 one. Even the character models and world is handled better.

Oh yeah. The graphics are decent and all but compared to AK, everything looks generic and lifeless. There's little going on much of the time, the city isn't quite as thematic as it's past iterations, and it's overall art direction feels boring to look at. It honestly makes people realize they could get a much better looking game from 7 years ago on a base PS4 instead of spending hundreds on a PS5 or Series X when much of their titles look like this. And that's just for consoles. PC barely looks any different

Gotham Knights does have better graphics. The problem is that the atmosphere lacks artistic personality. Feels too bland. And they didn’t put as much effort to the simplest things like rain, fog, cape gliding physics, etc.

Better tech and graphics, less passionate developers
