This is how AC is. Making History alive again until IV Black Flag, and Syndicate. Now AC felt left behind and forgot because of this new style of gameplay and settings.
I feel bad for these guys. You can tell they put a lot of love and effort into this game and unfortunately, at least by critics standards, it didnt pay off. Same situation for unity.

AC3…Like Unity, it feels incomplete but has some great aspects. This game more so. Maybe it was too ambitious for the time? Or maybe they just didn't have enough resources? Whenever I play AC3, I think of what it could have been and it just leaves me feeling disappointed.

My favorite game of all time
Sadly, the "side quests" were not really good, to be honest, and the characters were unexpectedly boring, BUT some of the story missions were the arguebly the best in the franchise yet. I will never forget running across a battlefield, dodging the brtish army's shots
