Mine does that. Initially it was due to when he had an ear issue which was handled. It slowed down for awhile, truth be told I missed it. Eventually he started back. I don’t mind it at all but my husband scratching his rear does get him going and once you turn him off he won’t stop til his mission is complete. lol

My 30 month old Maia likes to chew on my arm when I'm watching videos like this. Lies up next to me, and starts chewing on my arm. It's painful. I have sores all over my left arm. Her bites makes my arm jerk back and I give out a yelp.
My 5 month old kitten does this. It’s absolutely adorable but it usually happens between 3 and 5am, which is quite a struggle. I don’t like locking her out at night, but it’s really affecting my sleep.

My kitten Rocky is 7 months old now and I can’t get him to stop sucking on my body if I don’t let them on my face ears or neck he will try to go for my chest area or my arms and hands. I love him so much but I can’t stand when he does that how do I get to stop? I got him at 12 weeks old! He was with his mom but the owners of mom claims that his mom left him behind and so they just felt bad and yeah, he’s been inside their guest house the whole time but I know that was a lie that he wasn’t outside yet and he was with his mom because he was absolutely covered in fleas severely and they put him in their guest house whenever we got there.

Yes, my cats had to be separated from their mommy at 6.5 weeks. Only one of the kittens in the litter did this and it lasted until she was about one. I didn't have the heart to interrupt it. Then she moved on to my hair and started getting obsessed with kneading it and drooling all over it. I even bought a cheap wig, but she preferred my hair. Getting my long hair cut a few times ended this habit which was kind of annoying especially as she liked to drool and mess my hair right after I washed and styled it. All of my cats continue to knead me though and they're nearly 6.

My 4 year old cat lost her mother the day she and her siblings were born. Unfortunately her mother was hit by a car a few hours after giving birth. Lucky someone found her and her siblings before it was too late. She was bottle fed, and I ended up getting her around 4 weeks old.
She will suckled on any open piece of skin she can get to. Hands, arms, fingers, neck, ear. I’ll admit it gets a little annoying. But I also adore that she trust me and loves me enough to let her walls down and act that way toward me.

my kitten does this on my toes and fingers it get annoying he has teeth! he will go searching under the blankets for my toes! and when i stop him he meows at me real loud and i have to bring him to his food and he will usually stop. we found him outside our house he came running up and was very hungry i still love him even tho he’s annoying sometimes ☺️
I adopted two kittens almost two weeks ago. Two boys. One grey and white tabby, other or orange…both shorthairs. The orange one likes to suckle right behind his brother’s ears. He tolerates it some then I can tell he is done and he either moves or stars and I separate them. I don’t think the suckling would be an issue for me if it wasn’t doing it to his brother
I found my cat as a new born kitten he was abandoned so ever since he was a kitten he suckles on my eyelashes when am a sleep and goes asleep next to me haha

My cat has done this all her life. She was adopted as an adult, not a kitten, but she doesn't care. To her, it's a sign of affection, and the more she misses me, the more aggressively she does it. She also associates it with hunger, and will do this to ask for food. She'll suckle my chin, earlobe, cheek, nose, or my shaved scalp, and will paw at my mouth while she's at it. I can't exactly discourage it, because an inanimate object is not the same. I have however taught her the "Kiss" trick based on this behavior.
My cat Mouse was weaned too early and he sucks on my bedsheets. He will also knead my belly and act like he’s nursing but it’s super adorable. ❤
My kitten was adopted through ARL. She’s been in and out of ER. However she’s wonderful cat. She suckles my blanket I use every night. Idk why but she do it for 15 minutes straight! She’s 11 weeks

I’ve never had a cat do this suckling behavior until last year when my dad found a newborn kitten wedged between 2 boxes on our back porch that the mother cat(not our cat, but a stray in the neighborhood) couldn’t get him out. That was in April and it was getting too cold to leave him there so we brought him in and watched a bunch of newborn kitten care videos and raised him up. First few weeks were tough because he had an eye infection and then a respiratory infection and he had to be tube fed for a while and he had constipation issues and I honestly wasn’t sure if he’d make it through, but he did. And I occasionally see him suckle on my dog’s rope. I haven’t discouraged it cause I think it’s a cute behavior. If he was suckling on me, it might be a different story, but he doesn’t do it on me, just the rope. 8 months old as of now.
My new kitten does this every night at 2am (hence why I am watching this video in the middle of the night😅).
