So much waiting to have a window of 3 seconds. Wait 5 minutes for sand (to pass the cactus) … wait 5 minutes for another sand (to door to open) … wait 5 minutes for a teleport … wait 5 minutes for a water and gravity (to read one text) … wait 5 minutes for 40 dagrees…
I like how you can tell they completely ignored the NPCs while playing to make this video lmao
Everyone says "just play it, don't read anything about it, it'll ruin it."
I got a decent way in and learned about the wormholes and something about navigating the anglerfish zone, but exploration of the next zone turned into a race that killed me over and over, so I set it down for a few years. Then I picked it up again and skipped to the next puzzle that included some physical navigation puzzles, which killed me over and over, then I uninstalled.
I'm sure there's something fun here for someone, and maybe even some puzzles they like, but the actual space and surface navigations were so unpleasant and everyone online says not to read how to catch up or it'll ruin it, so I won't give this a third chance, and would discourage people from playing it, although I've read hundreds of online voices jerking off just at its name
It's in my Top 10 of games, at the very least. I was utterly shocked at how amazing this game was. Not good, but amazing. Hopefully that tells you all you need to know about Outer Wilds if you're interested in trying it. Phenomenal game, 10/10.

For me it’s the game of my life and probably no other. For me it surpassed the level of breath of the wild, greatest of 21 century yet I don’t expect anyone can challenge it

I haven't played any instruments since I was 5, I was being forced by parents, but this game made me start playing music again 20 more years later, I'm even a hardcore shooting, sim racing, watching stats grow gamer, this game really changed me, I'm still a shooter, racer, RPG nerd, but I now play with Outer Wilds music and its spirit in my head.
I laughed out loud when you made that comment about missing and throwing yourself in the sun. I probably did that myself a half dozen times. 😄

There are few games I wish I could go back and play for the first time again. This is one of them.
Speaking of toasting marshmallows: if you have one out as the supernova engulfs you, you can see, just for a moment before everything goes white, the marshmallow catch on fire from the blast wave.
I understood many things on outer wilds fast since I test things out and guess how they’ll work. Made me never run into the sun due to auto-pilot but Dark Bramble was something different
I'd play more of this if it wasn't for the time loop, hate having to rush everything while on a clock. It doesn't help that the loop is super short as well, much shorter than the one in Majora's Mask in my opinion.
The problems with Outer Wilds is how you want to tell everyone how amazing it is, but literally anything you say about the game spoils part of it for them
