Hi Chuck, let me address my personal perspective on motivation and UFO/UAP stuff for a sec. I don't think the existence of aliens is an issue. It's the alien technology that matters. Let's just say IF some government military and Intel guys latched onto some alien tech. IF, just stay with me – tech that we didn't understand at all, tech that did perform way better than anything we had. What would those military government guys think? They'd think "oh oh, what if our enemies had this and they figured it out. Oh cr@p". Scientists do NOT think this way; it's not their job, it's not their inclination, they think share it all. But military guys absolutely do think that way. Think of the astounding advantage new tech gave some people through history: iron vs bronze, gunpowder, globally capable ships, airplanes, nukes, etc etc. The military threat or utility of new tech IS their job, and they're right to be paranoid because the real world does have real violent enemies in it. So, I don't know if alien tech exists, but I can absolutely understand the necessary mindset, orientation, desire and need for secrecy while they figure out how the stuff works. Sure does make you wonder doesn't it.

An observation from this is either Neil and David don't like each other or are really great friends. The Science was good also 😅

I'm sure you're probably not much a videogame guy, but you should really check out "outer wilds", even if you just watch a playthrough instead of playing it yourself. It's a very interesting space exploration game, and there's a lot of cool science in it. There's a quantum moon you can't land on unless you take a picture of it, because if you look away, it'll move, but observing an image of the moon is the same as observing it physically. There's a high energy lab you go to where they created smaller versions of the black hole and white hole in the game and they figured out through testing that anything they sent into the black hole, popped out of the white hole a split second before it even entered the black hole. There's so so so much more that's just so intriguing about that game and the ending is just beautiful and magical. Please check it out.

Okay, I liked the response that someone in the agency would leak the information, but the media can be bought. So maybe they are not interested in informing and going against the government. They would ask the government, and they would deny. In the same way, he is just saying that there was a hearing in Congress just for fun because people want to believe. I am sorry this is not a great response. The conspiracy ppl have better answers .

A) As physicists and scientists why are they not talking about the out of world speeds and maneuverability of these things INCLUDING the UAP they showed in the video? That doesn’t strike anybody as odd?

B) They’re asking for evidence that already exists. The Phoenix Lights is one example of masses of people video recording a UAP (which btw had lights that turned on and off and was obviously not trying to hide). If he’s the chair of NASA’s UAP investigation there’s no way he doesn’t know about this incident and so many others like it around the world

6:34 I love how Neil asks all the really interesting questions like the details I love to know about but didn't know were there and I wouldn't even think to ask, but then again I'm no professional lol so there's that. But I love his videos, infact I wish he explained more into those technically interesting details that are fun to know about like I didn't know our phones had to correct for that (the magnetic anomaly). it's fun to know why things work the way they do.

I do not dismiss the notion aliens exist.
But I do think that because most of the sightings is happening in the US skies is a telltale sign that it's mostly military constructs being developed.
Allso, I have a fun story about a ball lightning. On the island of Brač in the Adriatic sea, there is a village in the innland with a church that has lost it's rose window (circular window above the entrance). When you walk inside you can see that a black jagged line is etched into the marble floor and the entrance wall right up toward the window.
The story goes that once during a very hot and dry summer the parishioners were attending a sermon and bc the air was so hot they left the church door open.
In the middle of a sermon in swoops a ball of light, hovers slowly toward the altar and the priest, who held out it's hand.
The moment he touched the ball, an earshuttering blast was heard, causing the lightning to travel down the aisle toward the entrance, hitting the wall, travelling up the wall and flying out of the rose window, shattering it in the process.
The priest died on the spot and many of the parishioners belive to this day he was punished for being wicked. They never repaired the floor or the wall or the window and the church was soon abandoned. To this day the church opens only to recive a warding blessing 3 times a year during high christian holidays.

I think one phrase thats being missed it he keeps saying, we have nothing beyond our own capabilities/technologies which doesnt mean its not it. It might be equal footing at this point.
