Absolutely loved this game, and The Hero Is Defeated is the best timeline. That last battle is something you should definitely experience.
I hate this game with a passion. Controls are a fucking nightmare. Getting the game to do what u want is next to impossible. Switch controls are too sensitive for this game. Hitting right and letting go flicks the stick left so every single time I want to look a direction it makes me go the opposite way. EVERY FUCKING TIME. I'm never buying a Nintendo game again. Shit console. Shit games. Just shit.
Im a little late to the party but im digging this game. There is one thing though nintendo pleaaee release a prequel of what link did before or at least do awesome 5 or 6 hour link story dlc because link was decked out amr ot just felt right.
I love zelda games, this one looks like another winner. Looks arent everything I know but i did prefer the GBA style like in links awakening rather than these perfectly smooth animations.they have less character in my opinion and look childish.
I adore this game. I've found it hard to put down. It's fun and I love the use of echoes to get around dungeons and reach areas.

I thought so… this NEEDS to stop!"
I mostly love this game besides the parts where you sneak around, I hate that part. I thought it was over with the first time in the castle but they keep making you do it over and over.
I’m just now rolling credits on it and I thought it was a great game. A game that has a good leveling up system, side, quests, and a little glowing character that you feel a little sad is going away at the end and tugs on your heart strings is a great game to me. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
the 60 fps gripes dont even matter for a game like this. this type of game doesnt really need it.

This review feels like a mobile game ad where they intentionally play poorly.
Dragging enemies and summons is a core mechanic. It's ridiculous to complain about standing still while your summons do the work when the whole point is strategic positioning and timing their abilities.
This game completely sucked. Of the 30-hour game, 29 hours are spent clicking through the dialogue. Dialogue that isn't remotely interesting. The final boss is so easy, all you need are about 8 hearts, a couple smoothies, and a high-end moblin. There's zero challenge, and the load times are beyond aggravating. If you loved this game, you're a dumbass.
Does it have new game + mode?

I have never played a Zelda game. I Know I know. But Zelda being the protagonist and the gameplay looks so good! And I have been getting games this holiday week.

They should do modern game based off the cartoon. I understand that the nes zeldas inspired it, but its been awhile.
Love the concept and the gameplay….despise the toy look. No matter how good they may be, I won't be playing any lego games.

I love how I totally thought a deku nut was a piranha plant which gives it some continuity even though some lazy effort its cool that they pull from multiple franchises or even different time lines throughout the Zelda franchise which makes it feel more grounded as these monsters are evolutions of an arbitrary timeline
I wish Nintendo would just make a Zelda game already and quit trying to innovate. Nintendo has lost their way to decades ago and struggles to make anything decent these days. Only 20 minutes into this game and I'm already done playing but for those of you who like scrolling through endless rows of useless items just to figure out how to build either stairs or a bridge out of tables and beds this game might be for you. It's extremely boring very repetitive and a waste of developer's time and consumers money. Since Nintendo can't seem to build anything new worth playing can we please get a remake using this engine and graphics but with the very first legend of Zelda one for one quit trying to recreate stuff that uses useless items or built around not using a sword this is not Zelda this is yet another terrible expression of Nintendo's current mind.
