Why does Mario took overwhelmed by the mushrooms? Isnt that where he lives?
Honest to God, people are just overreacting about the whole Chris Pratt Mario thing. One of the actors says that Chris Pratt is doing a Brooklyn accent on Mario in the movie. I think you and everyone else should give Chris Pratt playing Mario a second chance.
I think Chris's voice is something people can get use to. Also they should definetly do a Zelda movie or show.

I don't really watch movies or TV much, this is the first role of Chris Pratt I think I will have witnessed, and to me he doesn't sound terrible. However watching him in the unscripted excerpt of the Direct with the blurred out background left me with a bad taste. His overall attitude towards the movie seemed inauthentic idk.
I dunno Chris Pratt's voice acting is ruining it for me, he sounded awful

Animation movies are just pump n dumps concerning popular voices. Im 35 with no kids, so my opinion is moot, but ya, it's worse annoying how lazy Hollywood is in voice over acting
I'm lucky to be Swiss, cause the french VA for Mario nailed it.
Everyone's talking about how they like Jack Black's performance, but I think my favorite is Keagan Michael Key as Toad. It may not be the usual screechy Toad voice, but I still think it fits really well. Also, I think Chris Pratt has a slight Italian(?) accent if you listen closely, but it's honestly not much. I really like seeing the penguins from SM64 as their own kingdom, and the joke about them thinking that they're strong but actually aren't is pretty cute, if not a little cliche.
He's not talking normally, he's using a nasal sound with a Brooklyn accent. The movie is gonna be amazing, how could you expect anything less from a movie under Nintendo's direct supervision?

It looks like it will be a decent movie, I will probably end up watching it on Netflix. Besides that, Bowser was the best thing from the trailer, it reminded me of his portrayal in Mario Galaxy.
It doesn’t look cheap; looks like the team at Illumination went all out. Gonna take some time to get used to the new character designs, but so far, it looks great! Gonna hold off till we hear more of Chris Pratt, but I thought the first impression was a bit dull

Jack Black's voice sounds so good as Bowser, it's almost unrecognizable! In a very very good way!
IT LOOKS SO GOOD. Bowser looks absolutely intimidating, and his CASTLE!!! That opening cinematic was so so so cool and so scary, it brought me back to the scenes from Super Mario Galaxy. Bowser's fire breathing was so crazy, it looks like bowser isn't pulling his punches. I CAN'T WAIT!
This is the movie I've been dreaming of as a kid. I'm a bit iffy on Mario's voice but honestly I think it works!
Only negative is Chris Pratt's Mario voice, we'll need to hear more of it. Everything else is absolute fire.
