Should have just remastered Arkham Origins
Not me, going off the metacritic Score! The culmination of over fifty reviews are good enough for me. The games officially a lil above average and that’s fair but the combat is the deal breaker and fps for me.
It’s a solid 7.5 In my opinion, I have played a couple hours so far, and I’m enjoying it ( playing as redhood)
This game looks like trash
They should of just did another Batman Arkham game, all 4 Batman Arkham games are masterpieces.
The game doesn't look very good so I am not surprised the reviews aren't very great.
I'm not a massive DC fan, and I was skeptical about this game from the moment I saw it. The combat just looks boring, the upgrades don't look that meaningful, and the traversal is garbage (Robin's teleport is the single clunkiest movement mechanic I've ever seen in a video game). The mediocre reviews and the fact that you're locked to 30fps on console sealed the deal for me.
This is one of those rare occasions I just put my head down and play it for myself, too many of the reviews are giving low scores based on performance and many of those issue could be patched in the following weeks and or months, plus I’m a die hard DC Batman fan.
The forgettable story, graphics, combat, Easter eggs, etc. are all meh. 5/10

I can see this game getting the Arkham origins treatment. All the issues should have been fixed by now and that's on wb Montreal, but I think it'll be underappreciated once and if these issues are fixed. Avengers is an underrated game that has fixed most of its launch issues and just needs content and enemy variety (maybe some other stuff too).
Oh well, everyone do whatever you want with your money and time and just stop attacking each other (myself included) because we're not going to change anyone's mind.

This definitely looks like a 7/10. If you are into multiplayer and gear grinding you will be more positive. If not, there isn’t a rush to get it if at all.

Thankfully I haven't played any of the Batman Arkham series games, so I don't have any existing expectations. I'm going into this game with a fresh perspective
All I've seen is people crying about 30 fps and it not being an arkham game. Yet ignoring the greatest parts of the game. Since when did we get a superhero game with co op. Psa we haven't and I've been wanting one for years. This game ain't perfect but it's not garbage.
Seems like a pretty 3asy skip but to be fair I wasn't planning to get it anyway. Might have been more inclined if it was a surprise hit but it's clearly not
If you followed the leaks then you knew this was going to happen. So many people got this game early and they all said it was a disappointment. I have yet to see any reviewer talk about how the story is a bait and switch. There's no murder mystery. It's very clear who killed Bruce.
I think the lower scores 6 and under are trash. It's no way this game is that bad…like worse than avengers bad (which is the most repetitive game as far as hero genre goes)..I think people just didn't let this game stand on its own and had preconceived notions of this game. I promise if this was the same exact game (story, world, leveling, customization, everything) just with Arkham combat then it's a 9 out of 10. These big publications are a joke 🤣.
