Why does the fourth floor in the trial automatically give you the affliction that makes you and your minions deal less 40% less damage. I never accepted this affliction, yet both times I've tried to get my 4th ascendancy points I think my damage is great everywhere else and all of the sudden I do half damage for the entire hardest part of the trial. Fuck this game until casual players can complete basic shit. And I'm far from casual, 250 hours. I'm not buying a carry so elitists can run this game just like poe 1. GGG, do you want 12000 players 2 months into a league? I'm assuming you don't care cuz everyone has already bought all mtx for that league. But that's exactly what's going to happen.
You can absolutely play Titan with Totems. Currently Titan excels at strength stacking, which allows you to take Giant's Blood Keystone, which let's you dual wield 2h maces.
Since totems scale with level, having 2 2h maces with +7 to all melee skills is overpowered af, take it from someone playing Molten Blast Ancestral Totem
That's the beauty about poe2, no class is locked behind playstyles because there's a lot of flexibility.
Poe2 has less flexibility atm, because it's Early access and they made it so it's easier for new players to get into

2:23 Nah bro we're on the same boat, we poe1 players hated on death effects from day 1 on the first game. Although without them the game would probably feel too bland. I think on death effects are fine as long as they're not too punishing and they give good sound cues or telegraphed explosions.

It's a toss-up for me if I consider it a good game yet. I also have over 100 hours into it. I re-rolled a character 3 different times; one of those times caused that stupid ascension thing and not being able to change it. Seriously!? Everything else I can change but not that? Who's stupid idea was that?! Fire them! There is making a game challenging for the challenge of it, and then there's making stupid design decisions just cause. I am finding more of the latter than the former. As an example, punishing you for advancing in the game. Yup, really! the better I do and the further I go, the worse my resistances are? Who the hell thought up that stupid idea!? Was it the same person who came up with the other stupid idea?! Fire them! I could go on and on and on and on lmao 🙂 Ultimately, it hasn't wowed me yet, and with so many great games out there, I'm not sold that this one deserves my time, so maybe I'll give it another 40 hours and see…
These games are rough for solo player's and even if you coop with someone it could screw up you're quest progression and rewards
I love PoE 2. There are a lot of problems with it, but almost all of them seem to be a result of EA, or a dev decision I can at least respect, even if I don't get it.
That being said, not being able to change ascendencies is just stupid – it's not even a thing in PoE 1. At the moment, there are 12 classes in the game, not 6. Sorceress is a meaningless title because Stormweaver has the same degree of connection to Chronomancer that Infernalist or Blood Witch has. What's the point of having 2 named classes per passive tree starting location if in reality it's 4-6 separate ascendencies that can't even be swapped between within the class?

The main issue with this game is that the developers tried to make a dark souls ARPG, but they lack the talent, skill, and know how of Miyazaki and his team. Know your lane.
Boss design so far it has been pretty bad, they’re lazy floating point damage system some games from software means that either it takes so long they’re annoying as hell they’re over so quick. I have to wonder why the fuck they even bothered to begin with.
