I'm about to be on day 3 trying to take this horde out. Whoever is left keeps glitching out of existence. So I have to leave and come back, or save and reload. I think I'm near the end. But they disappeared again. I'm still in the beginning of the game though. I just unlocked that part of the map and haven't even started the mission with Rikki yet. I've already taken out several hordes in the other areas. This is my first time playing, so I'm wondering, will I get the achievement now if I complete it? Or will I have to wait until much later in the game?

Run in circles and shoot zombies. How is this fun? After you have the strategy of where to run the game becomes boring.
Been playing games since the 80s, yeah the games look nicer now but you have to step back and see this for what it is.
I attempted like 4 times to clear this infestation, planned for like 45 minutes n just researching the best route to enter from, best trail to take when the horde does eventually begin to come out and attack. I barely made a dent in it before it overcame me. The Freaker Hordes are one of the most overwhelming, heart pounding forms of infected in any game I’ve played

This was a tough one, but then I figured out that there is a railway tunnel nearby, you can actually put landmines, traps, get your napalm and best guns and lure the horde to that tunnel, there's no actual way for them to surround you and you can defeat the horde more easily than fighting with them at the sawmill itself.

I personally love this game I don't understand the low scores, it's beautiful. Great(ish) storyline, beautiful scenery graphics spot on, a handsome dude with a motorbike and hoards of zombies. What's not to love?!

I came back to this video 5 years later.
Still playing days gone, and i will never forget the day when i was Bounty hunting near this area, i knew of the horde, tried to do everything Sneakily knowing that if i mess up… ill be dead in seconds.
So anyways, the bounty target eventually went inside the main building, next to the one the horde was chillin at. i crouched behind him but he somehow saw me and Immedietly fired his gun at me.
I went to the nero building, sat on a rooftop behind a sandbag, and watched the horde decimate bro.
Then i collected the proof of kill
