I was actually using my brushes in both of these paintings cause I made them last year! I didn't realize it's been that long… I've been working on them a lot lately and I hope to release them soon!
I feel that my digital art is completely different from my traditional art, I have a sketch style for my sketchbook, and when i try to transfer in digital it doesn't work… Don't know, i think i need to try again… And I have a digital portrait art that is different too.
13:08 'dragon birds' *off to draw a bunch of dragon bird mashups 😀😀
💜
=)
I love both styles and al you colors choices
i can’t wait for your procreate brushes omg
Your brushes look so much like gouache. I love it!
Edit: the dragons remind me of ferrets.
Thank you so much for showing us some of your process! I love how you did the flowers in the dragon one 😊
Thank you for this 🙏✨ I have a few different styles as I find sticking to one feels at times mundane 😅 btw I love your art styles so much, I hope to get as good with creating backgrounds and scenes like you!
I like both of your styles. Thank you for sharing your art. About art styles, It's more fun if you have different art styles and you can learn different ways to draw.
I believe those purple flowers in the front are purple coneflower or echinacea. Thank you for sharing your work. So inspiring! 🙏🌿🐾
Yes yes! I keep saying don’t box yourself in! ❤❤❤
Great points , it’s cool to see the different ways you develop a piece depending on the approach.
This video sparked some of my own observations, about the nature of the two styles, it seems to me , ( and in my experience also) that there is a refined , exacting style that relies on line , rhythm, and form, and requires a lot of focus and attention. The other style , is more tuned to emotion, less refined , but more intuitive, and does not benefit from a rigid structure or expectation.
Love seeing the different processes!
I love your art style. I actually draw animals kinda like your art style. But of course it’s not exactly
Like your style
Funnily enough, with my digital art style, my line art one is what I do for simpler pieces, and my painterly is for my more detailed! I adored the badger piece in particular – the lighting in it was really enchanting. And I too love the procreate speedpaint function – such a cool thing to have!
It's really cool to see how recognisable your art style is in digital form too 🥰
Yay! I was waiting for the next upload! How do you find instó for what to draw? I currently have a lot of sketches of ideas but then I get stuck on correct anatomy or not enough references and focusing more on that instead of just having fun, which it seems like you’re doing.
This video also reminds me the trend of "I have to 2 sides"
I have at least 2 styles … I think 😅
I think there is no greater badassery for an artist than to wield several artstyles.
I am now learning, so no style yet….but love yours
Helloooo 😅😊❤ happy to see you on 🤗💚💚💚
I feel like “finding your style” is seen as super important on social media but I feel like you shouldn’t be restricted by yourself. It’s great to experiment and try new things because that way you can find new techniques that you wouldn’t have known about otherwise!
I love that dragon illustration so much!! 🤩 your art is always gorgeous and just beautifully soft and whimsical and it just makes me happy ✨️
I enjoyed this video a lot Jel. Can ya do a video on how to start with dipping into digital art in the future with procreate + other similar apps for the iPad please. would appreciate it.
I totally love this print I have, and so fun to see it come to life ❤
I also have different styles depending on the art supply I’m using. Currently doing watercolor paintings out of my usual style as I have to teach the techniques (so can’t be that expressie with my materials as normal like using acrylic mediums with watercolors or add charcoal etc).
I used to feel really bad about how "indecisive" I am when it comes to what I like most in art, but now that I've grown older I started to accept the fact that I'm not someone who can settle for one singular thing (this applies to my life in general too lol). And I am not a professional so there's no need for me to have a brand. Anyway, I think it's a good thing to explore many different styles and mediums and not trap ourselves in our own expectations of what we're supposed to do. So yeah everyone, have fun with art and don't limit yourself too much, it's all about freedom don't forget !
speedpaints are so satisfying love the foliage poggy skibidi rizz
oh my goodness ive never seen a video right when you post it i. so excited!! im about to do some digital painting in procreate after this :3
3th lets go
I have tons of different art styles. I experiment a lot. Then I incorporate what I learn from my experiments into my overall style. Still not in a place where I’m totally happy, but I’m getting there!
Omg hii ive never been this early!!!
