I love it, my only nitpick is that the final war felt underwhelming. But then again they did say that Ragnarok will only happen in Asgard and not the whole 9 realms.

Atreus is less annoying then the first game but still annoying. He was badly written or the voice actor ruined it because I can't stand him as a character. They hyped up his story like he had everything to do with Ragnarok but really in the end it's that his daddy was there to save him and kratos handled it all
This game is for casual gamer who doesnt know what good game actually is
God of Snore. Nothing more than an interactive movie. You walk and talk and solve boring puzzles and fight some bad guys. You get narrated to death. Hours worth of cutscenes. These games that focus on stories to get the players emotionally invested as first priority are trash. Stories used to be a way to set up the conditions of why you're doing what you're doing. It was always about the gameplay first. They're doing it backwards. It's the same thing as TLOU. There's no replay value. It's not fun. It's a slog to get through all of the dialogue and character building, etc. I don't care about relationships between characters in a fucking video game. I want to beat up bad guys, rack up combos and improve my arsenal without stopping so I can watch soy-filled emotional bullshit. The old GoW games shits all over this.

Why are there no consequences to killing norse gods like the old games?
my only complaints is autreus talks wayyyy to much , muspelheim and nifelheim are for the most part just practice areas AGAIAN and asgard is still unexplorable . but in the end still a very epic experience

I went to check out the cutscenes and my goodness, it was 7 freaking hours worth. I’d say this is aaaa. 2018 was very impressive but I’m just not feeling the movement in combat and enemies. Surely that’s improved with this sequel but I still have EldenRing to play through so I’ll be waiting on Ragnorok

I feel like if you made this game apart of the first game and made a time skip nothing major would be lost, but I’m fine with it
In my opinion, it feels like a DLC extension of the previous one. Certainly overhyped like the next best thing since sliced bread which it wasnt. I think people should just enjoy the game for what it is and not expect genre-bending changes. Just because you like GOW and Norse myth doesnt mean it is Game Of The Year. Calm TF down.
The only thing I came to like about the game was Thor. He was literally the only god that seemed like a Norse god. Even looked like how he was generally depicted. Odin sounds like too much of a sales rep playing mob boss, and Tyr was way too sissy like to be a war god. Final battle was the most let down moment I have seen in gaming in a long, long time!
My expectations were too high man. The final battle was so disappointing. This game falls short to the final battle and spectacle of gow3.
