I think this game is going to be a big disappointment, too many years between GTA 5 and 6 and now barely any info, people's expectations are growing too big and I think that's going to work against it instead of supporting its success, there is a limit to everything and I personally have lost a lot of interest in this game already, to the point I'm not going to buy it until it's out for at least a couple of weeks so I can have some insight in how the actual game is and if it's not a big positive surprise I'll even wait for it to go on sale before buying, I'm just tired of Rockstar's way of doing things

Well R* does have the GTA Online winter DLC to contend with. Maybe it wont matter? all people really want is some pictures or at the very least an announcement for trailer 2. R* & T2 say something already. your shareholders and investors need some report of their return of investment. (aka ROI= Return Of Investment)
My take is less about the fans and more about the employees of rockstar. I think for the hard work all of the staff at rockstar games have put in this year, as a token of appreciation and to celebrate the holidays, the company will release the next trailer before Christmas 🤶

I honestly don't think they'll announce any future trailer to drop in X date. They maybe learned their lesson and no more trailer announcement so it won't get leaked. Maybe the trailer will just simply drop any day now, no announcement. It's going to break the internet once again 100%.
