Some beautiful designs here, REALLY hoping that we'll be getting an "Art of Alien Romulus" booked released at some point, the entire movie and some of the concept art I've seen for it have all been incredible.
I liked the shock/WTF factor that the Offspring had, I just think having it's design so close to an Engineer's appearance has retconned the background biology in the lore so far (a human trilobite/Deacon would have followed on from what we've seen so far).
Something like Species 2 would have been so much better than what ever the fuck that trash was

Because the girl was already pregnant, it makes sense that the offspring would start off human-like because she already had a formed human baby in her womb. It would then continue to mutate as the foreign DNA was expressed. This is a bit like what was happening to Fifield in Prometheus. Good to see this little bit of consistency.
All looked better than the final cut, again they should have gone with the original flesh colored tone xenomorph 🤷♂️ if it ain't broke n all that

The Newborn from Alien Resurrection was a much better design, in my opinion. I suppose the Offspring was more Engineer and Xeno.

This just looks like another xenomorph, I'm personally glad they went with the engineer approach in the movie.
I would have preferred the offspring being less humanoid – I was somewhat taken out of the movie by the proportions and face; even if it has a little more biomechanical language, it would have been easier to accept.

Out of everything they went with the slender man in space. It's a shame this movie wasn't good, other than the visuals and sound design the movie was disappointing. Seeing everything we've seen before beat for beat in past films turned this into memberberrys the movie
