I disagree about the game of thrones game. It makes sense to have them look like the guys on the show, also just because game of thrones ended 4 years ago doesn't mean it wasn't big enough for people to want to see a game based on it. The first 3 star wars was huge and everyone from Lucas to Disney have been trying to recapture the magic because its one of those franchises that live the test of time. The last harry potter movie came out 12 years before Hogwarts Legacy and that game made a billion so i think your judgement is a little off on that one.

Just saw Game Science post on Chinese social media. Apparently they were tricked by tga to go to US to participate believing they got GOTY. They were just as shocked as us gamers when the result was announced.
As many Chinese gamers, I have never heard of tga until 2024. One month ago tga opened accounts on all chinese social platforms, saying this year there is a huge good surprise for us, asked everyone to support them.
What the west media dont tell is, it is not chinese gamers collapsed, it is chinese gamers got played by liers. to save itself and make them look international and neutral, they lured game science in knowing otherwise we are not trusting them giving ign is sitting on the jury.
