My cat fell from a huge old pecan tree. From the highest point. The firefighters tried to spray him down when he was lower, but after awhile he turned and started to climb higher. When he fell, he only broke two toes, and was able to run away into the darkness. I was the one that ran and kept track of him (Without a flashlight too).
It took us awhile to get him, because everyone else was just scaring him further into the field we live next to. I had to make everyone stop, crouch down, and I just talked to him. He stayed low to the ground and let me pick him up. Immediately after picking him up he started purring and cleaning the mud and blood off his paws. He is alive and well today. Definitely think he is the luckiest cat alive, definitely since he escaped 4 dogs when he climbed the tree. He is an indoor cat only.
