Update: For those who asked, broom flying is actually not terrible! I thought it may cripple the game but while it dips a little it's not too bad.

If given the choice between all these inconveniences or the inconvenience of not being able to play in handheld mode, I'd pick these inconveniences and being able to play in handheld ever day. Switch version is my preferred version for that reason alone.

You should probably not compare the PC version to a handheld. To be more appropriate you need to compare it to the steam deck or ROG ally. I know that those are technically PCs but it's a much more reasonable comparison than a PC with a 4090 in it.

This game is currently on sale in the Nintendo store for $17! Ends on 9/16/2024! Totally enjoying it and so is my wallet!
I like everything about the game except the graphics, it looks horrible in some certain parts. Like things will blend in and look unclear or not detailed, or the characters' bodies and faces are blurry. Other games on the switch look good like zelda, but why not hogwarts. It's still worth the play, but I'm more into clarity and great graphics. 😢
I recently bought it and it’s not that bad honestly. It’s not the best obviously but for what it is it’s amazing. I would have not been mad or annoyed if they changed the graphics a bit or anything to make the game run smoothly like the other consoles.

Looks terrible and performs terrible in the Switch. This is a example of when porting went too far on the Switch which simply cannot handle.
For it to be on the Switch, you expect the graphics to take a hit, but it's amazing they were still able to port the game. Let's see Starfield on the Switch now!
Porting big games to a handled device that’s hardware is years old is no easy task. Kudos to them. That said I still feel like games like this should be played on actual consoles/PC, but if you don’t have access to it, this is a pretty good going

Some of the best games I've played were based on movies. The Blade for Ps1 was one of my favorites, & Merry Shelly's Frankenstein for Sega Genesis. This one looks like it'll be my 3rd fav. 📦
Far more advanced and technical superior systems seem to lack all the colour and look as bland as sepia, (which seems to be the boring norm nowadays), even though they have a much wider more dynamic range to choose from. You can ray trace all you want, but with a small colour palette it will make little difference to the visual scope. I hate how everything looks pale nowadays in games and movies. It's depressing.
