No it's not great. But to actually feel that you have to reach the endgame. Season 6 unfortunately is a failure for many reasons like extremely bugged Spiritborn (it's so OP because of multiple bugs overlapping), loots nerfed into the ground, very bad seasonal mechanics (Realmwalkers), general feeling of slog and lack of progression. VoH plot is also garbage, but I don't think people play this game for plot anyway.
But as I said – you will feel it after 1-2 weeks of playing. First expression will be great. And then it will start to rot after you are level 60, especially if you don't play Spiritborn.
Great video! As a casual myself it sucks that most big Diablo creators are so hardcore they are in Torment 4 two days after launch, and says the endgame is shallow. I am cool if they add more endgame but I still have so much to do XD I have played since the expansion launch and just hit Torment 1. I do agree, if they keep this up and make the next expansion story better it could be great

Diablo 4 is the first Diablo game I have played. Honestly, I am loving the game. However I feel there does need to be more balance with the characters. I started off with a Rogue and no matter what build I try it does not match up to the Spiritborn I have. For comparison, I have 80+ hours on my Rogue and only 8 hours on my Spiritborn. I think the endgame grind for the new character is sooo much easier than the endgame grind for other characters.
I did not touch D4 since the season with Varshan, so I can say the endgame loop became MUCH better! The Expansion story on the other hand was EEEEH! I wanted more big bro Mephisto, and less of the girl I can't give a rats ass about.
Gameplay loop while better still has some issues like the most important Glyph grind hidden behind one singular mechanic. Greater Rifts can stay the main source of it but let me have some glyph levels someplace else. Greater Rifts being best for EXP and also needed for Glyps is D3 all over again.
