I'm glad I came across your channel. This was very helpful. I have a questions about 2 behaviors my dog is showing. He is 4 months old. Pyrenees/Border Collie mix. One is every time I approach him, he lies on his side and shows me his belly. The other is every time he comes upstairs where the bedrooms are, he urinates and poops in my bedroom and master bathroom. He sleeps in my son's room but never has accidents there. I'm not sure it is an accident either because he never does that on the main level of the house where we spend most of our time. Is there a reason for this behavior and how can we correct it?

Have a big dog as the world's best cuddly companion. But it's more on his terms. But Rhodesian ridgebacks are very independent with exceptions of course. Then I have a smaller mixed breed shih tzu and terrier. He is the opposite. Follows me like a shadow. Want to cuddle as often as possible. Follows into the toilet and sits as close as possible to cuddle. If I stop cuddling with him, he goes to drink, lies in the dirty laundry and waits there until I'm done. His so called puppy eyes stare into my soul ha ha. When I lay with a headache or a fever, he comes and puts his paw on me. When I leave home he gets huge separation anxiety. Unbelievable how our beloved dogs give us love.
