YES YES YES, Thx, and while the fighting is not totally bad, the old one was epic, and that kind of a big part of the batman series. Man i am playing just cause it is batman, but last batman games have been so bad. It is sad, grew up with this game series, and now it is sh*t

So what did you all do when you weren't playing main sorry missions or side mission in the arkham series???????? Am I missing something u guys played cause I've beaten them all. This is by far better in story telling and the crafting system is amazing. The innovative multiplayer is unreal and seamless. If u don't have friends then u can totally solo the whole game no problem and still have fun. You are all wayyyyy too critical of video games nowadays. You know how hard it is to make these games? You're not batman.. you aren't going to do batman things. That's the point. It's a cleaner gotham. There's actually civilization for a change that's not just a bunch of terrible looming clown people running around with terrible dialogue. I mean every super hero in this game is fully voice acted with special private cutscenes when talking to Alfred as deathstroke or knight wing talking to deathstroke about bruces death. The acting could never be better in any batman game. Only good actor in the arkham series was Harley and joker.

This is what I'm told every time I criticize Gotham Knights. I picked up the game against mine and the better judgment of the reviewers that I trust hoping the game was just judged a little harshly, come to find out the game IS actually abysmal. Your assessment of the game 100% what I am experiencing. Ign's 5 out of 10 was a valid score.
Definitely think it got far too much hate. I beat it after almost 35 hours and loved it. Also it is currently listed at mostly positive on steam as well. I enjoyed this alot more then spiderman.
It's always disappointing to see a game that you really wanted to play and had high hopes for do so badly. It didn't help when the developers took Denuvo out of the game, by accident, and then reinstalled it back into the game at a later date. Certain scene's are laughing at the developers right now, for making that mistake. For what it's worth, I think it's better than the "Marvel Avengers" PC game, considering the competition between Marvel and DC, but that isn't saying much.

It's just a mobile game stretched out to fit consoles/pc. Lok no further than the 30fps cap, it was never meant to run 4k/60. Many user interface aspects are very reminiscent of mobile games 🤔

I feel like the mechanics to farm for gear and get rewarded for kicking but is good. if you dont like farming the game isn't for you. combat is fluid you have to rely on your sight and camera other than a lock on system much like previous batman and spiderman games. this game is promising I enjoyed the lighting it bring to gotham city. overall I give this game a 7 out of 10 for okay.

Gotham Knights is product of the current market. A lot of people don't see that and assume it tried to be like avengers. The top selling games have rpg elements and looter mechanics. The studio simply looked at the market and figured they would go along with it instead of making another arkham game.
