Thanks so much for watching this video everyone! It was a lot of fun being able to put it together.
I made a t-shirt that I wear at the beginning in honor of the event and project. You can get your very own here:

I saw a UFO in Pensacola around 1975-1976 when I was around 5-6 years old. It looks similar to the one depicted.
Too bad, that photo is very easy to discern as fake. A great job on the hoax considering it was created in the ancient pre-photoshop days, but you can clearly tell the angle of the object is all wrong.
I really think it's a UFO.
I have taken a video of a similar UFO. 🛸✨
I wanted to say I saw this shortly after you uploaded it. You did a great job, well done
Very thorough. Nice work ✌️
I love the photo with him in a towel, fists in the air, yelling "get off my lawn!"
If he was going to fake these photos I would have to ask why put so much effort into these so called double exposures and then do what he did that makes his story and photos look fake. I don't see why anyone would go to all that effort for money. There would be no sure knowledge that he would have of profiting from all the work he's put into it.
If you search old Hunter ceiling fans you will find the exact one the motor was used from to fake that picture of it in the road using the glass reflection method.
The family has long ago admitted to how they did it.
Anyone remember the television special about UFOs and spent a lot of time on the Gulf breeze story? I remember watching and recording it on VHS. Would love to see it again
I was in the tall white condos on Pensacola Beach, I believe they were named Tristian Towers. I saw this thing float up looking north past Gulf Breeze. It was crazy big. It rose up from beyond the trees, floated for a few seconds and then went down out of site. Only lasted a few seconds. This thing was real, no model.
Great job.i believe Ed
The fact the guy saw naked women "pictures of dogs" in his head during the thing is because the psychotronics were not used very efficiently on him. He hears voices in sort of African, the way he heard a hum beforehand, etc. Maybe someone was testing psychotronics on him. What terrifies me is to think maybe Earthlings are behind it all, maybe.
I’m not sure how I stumbled upon this, but what a treat to watch—very well done. Thank you!
I actually have a personal connection to some of this, and I’m even quoted in Ed’s second book (without permission, I might add). I just ordered a new copy since I don’t feel like digging through countless boxes to find mine. I also have the original hardback of his first book, along with the letters Ed and I exchanged tucked inside. Our correspondence was rather contentious at times, but I never doubted Ed or what he saw—because I saw them too.
I understand the skepticism, but when you see it—straight on, clear-eyed, in full focus—it never leaves you. For some, it can even turn into an obsession. That’s what I believe happened to Ed.
Think of the scene in Close Encounters of the Third Kind where Roy is recreating Devil’s Tower. Did anyone claim Devil’s Tower was fake just because they found a clay model of it in Roy’s basement?
I don’t know how the model got into Ed’s house, but I can understand making a model after the fact to help process what he was seeing. But honestly, I’m not sure.
Anyway, I guess I’m bracing for some serious PTSD now… thanks. :/
interesting content….
I think you done a good job but on the other hand all of it may and may not to proof the hoax as person who used be photography lap owner not an expert but such a hoax needs a lot of work and its expensive at that time so at the end mostly you are wrong but any way continuo your work as its a good thing to checkout and try to get the truth
Im tired😴😴😴
Phipp Klass was a homosexual
About these kinds of stories folks are always like: "and he never made a dime! Why would they come forward with these things and experience so all the public scrutiny?" Lmao no hoaxers make plenty of money off book deals and interviews. This case should be a lesson for the ultra believers
But if the reporter (or someone working with him) hid the model in the attic under all the insulation, how did he know the new owner would decide to put in a new ice maker and have to go up there and dig it out? I think Mr Walters put it there to hide it so that no one casually nosing around would happen upon it and then forgot about it. Sorry. And yes, I do believe it was mere coincidence that the reporter asked about it… he had already asked about other evidence and all that was left to ask about was a model.
One thing to say about this. 1:11:30
The more I hear the more it seems fake!
the military has all these dummies fooled, because it's easy.
Ed has a great imagination. Pulled off a hoax once and found he could keep doing it. He most likely used a few different techniques to fake his images, some double exposure, some just models on strings, some probably of reflections off of glass. Plus all his photos look either underexposed or out of focus. Makes hard to get any details out of it. Cameras were very capable, even in the 80s, his images should have been better. If you were getting all these sightings… wouldn't you try to get better at photography or get a camera with a lens with a really wide aperture you could use in "low light"?
You gotta be an idiot to think for a minute that these people went through the trouble to hoax this. The model thing has been used before to discredit other UFO witnesses. They always find it after they move. No one has the ability to catch the guy while he is committing the hoax. Come on. If someone is committing a hoax, there is evidence that they are committing a hoax and I don’t you find a model in their garage after they move. Every single instance when this happened, they found the model in garage after they moved.
We know that people fake things, we don’t have any conclusive evidence that UFOs are aliens, or that they abduct people. I think it’s pretty easy to make up your mind. I’ve read both of Ed Walters’ books.
I can't be the only person looking at that and thinking it is a ceiling fan. Lol
A very well presented video. Great background info and entertaining. Still none the wiser if true or not😂. Hope to see more in this vein and maybe some crypto. 👍
The issue for me with UFO photos is how they mirror popular culture at the time. Roswell photos look 1950s. These look 1980s Spielberg. If I saw say a F35 fighter design in a photo from the 1960s, the photo wouldn't match contemporary technology, therefore it would be more persuasive. But I do believe nonetheless.
Thanks 👍
I just stumbled across this video, thinking, no way i will waste precious time watching, then looking at the comments, and decided to watch anyway, and …i must say, absolutely amazing work, thank you!:) who would have thought that anyway could create at docu that actually is interesting, thorough and credible these days!:) sooo…you have a new subscriber;-) great work! much love from DK:)🥰
The photo where the UFO is partly behind the tree. Look closely. You can actually see the obscured bit. That's because it's a reflection, on glass, of an object behind the photographer, or more likely, below the camera this effect is known as Pepper's Ghost. It does not require double exposure. The photo partly behind the tree proves this. You can see the illuminated left hand side of it in front of the tree. It's dim because the light reflecting off the tree – however little there was – is be as much as the dim reflection in the glass and they practically cancel out. This also explains why those photos could be taken on any camera. It's a very simple rig.
$768 !
It's wild finding out how rare and expensive the hardbound edition of the book is- that was diversion I first saw as a kid in my local library in Michigan, and I checked it out repeatedly. I wonder if it's still there?
I love your video, but please turn the music down a notch.
I can not believe that a normal £20 hard back cover book is being sold on Amazon for a disgusting $700 dollars??!!! How is this being gotten away with??!!!
There was a section of this documentary that showed the sham clearly hovering and you could hear the observers watching in awe…its no longer here…what happened ???
Hah bro, the hard back color scan has been on Internet archive since 2012 for anyone to see. You didn't need to go anywhere
Good work guys. You should look into the 1989 BROOKLYN BRIDGE UFO ABDUCTION of Linda Napolitano “Cortile”. The Why Files did a good video on it. I have done a video on it as well. If you decide to go down the rabbit whole check it out!
I see UFOS in Santa Rosa County to this day
Why dont you remake that silly little model and test it fully yourself ?
I gotta know: how much did you pay for the book you ordered that ended up to be a hard copy by mistake? Not $700+ I'm sure, but how much? Don't leave me hangin' bro! Loose ends like this can rattle around in my brain for weeks. Shame on you for not stating it in the video! Excellent video by the way! Looking forward to more.
Just WOW! The deepest dive ever! Thanks a ton!
Did they get the raccoon out of the dumpster?
