The last one might not be the greatest game of all time but doling out righteous justice to the specific brand of enemy present in that place and era is so rewarding it elevates the whole experience. Like hunting them in Lemoyne in RDR2 is.
They did a remake of the first Mafia game called Mafia Definitive Edition, that's an excellent place to start if any of you want to check these out. The acting and writing are SUPERB, the gameplay is standard but POLISHED.

I'm one of the people who wasn't a massive fan of Mafia III, as it didn't feel as "mafia" to me as I'd hoped. This game looks to be, quite literally, taking the franchise back to it's roots. Can't wait!!
