Magikoopa? Kamek? Wizzrobe? Eh, same ballpark. Kamek in Yoshi's Island is supposed to be an old lady, but I don't think such shows until one of the Paper Mario games. Anyway…can't complain, but this movie makes me feel really old. I wish Nintendo made the second jump to cinema 20 years ago.
Magikoopa is the generic koopa mage which first showed up in Super Mario World, and Wizzrobes are Zelda baddies seen as early as the first Legend of Zelda.

Think abt this with the voice. Mario’s game voice works in games because it’s in very short spurts. But for long dialog, maybe the game Mario voice would become annoying over time and a little more normal voice is easier on the ears. Maybe the accent could be a little stronger from Chris. Hmmm, idk, maybe I just need to hear more.🤷🏽♂️

I think the only people who are gonna have an issue are zoomers who don’t remember the super Mario super show. Until Mario 64 hit Mario didn’t have that stereotypical Italian accent.
I like the voice it reminds me of the voice form the super show he’s a plumber from Brooklyn. And I say this as I’m an Italian from New Jersey.. for once I can play the race card.
