Did you get your hands on the Steam Deck yet? Let me know what games you want me to check out for it below 😍
RIP mic 😂
What the heck, a female's gamer channel. Need more of these….
I wish they had more cozy games on the steam
The Steam Deck promises all the things I want but don't want to spend tons of money on different set ups as a VERY casual gamer of both Indies and AAA stuff: It's basically a PC, I can use it with my external display and use mouse/keyboard if I want. I can take in on business trips and my commute to get some time in. I can play on the couch, not sitting at a desk, and in between during the day. I can (hopefully) emulate all my old windows games that I liked to play as a kid and much more. And can still get the at the moment newest stuff to play. And I can use my existing steam library and make use of their crazy sales, no need to repurchase for high prices. And all that for a really affordable price. I'm shook.
I got into the steam deck lineup in the beginning of June this year with the website saying anticipated purchase between October – December in Canada. I'm planning on waiting it out since I've got a "to be played" list on my other consoles that could take me a year of straight playing to get through. I decided to take the plunge mostly to get access to the smaller indie cozy games that either don't come to the switch or take forever to get there. The switch is my before bed cozy gaming console. Loved the review, pumped I found a Canadian cozy game streamer to follow!
I’m receiving mine on Tuesday and I’m so excited 🎉Thank you for sharing
Coming back to this now I’ve got mine!
I ❤️ mines, haven’t touched my sons switch ever since
You play the exact type of games I like so you’re the perfect person to listen to a review from for this
Would you ever be willing to do a book tour? I see a lot of books back there and would love to know what you enjoy reading! 😊
Her mouth…perfection
I wish we could get the steam deck in Australia 😞
The Steam Deck feels like early devkit / prototype device. There are sooo many people with issues when I read Reddit. It's insane. At the end it's just portable low-spec PC and not a proper bespoke console like Nintendo Switch.
I think the switch is much better then the steam deck because of its games.console wise maybe not:( but it’s still done great and better. It WILL surpass 150 million sales. So
Great video, but seriously what’s in the cup you didn’t take a sip out of it at all while holding it for most of the video 🤣
Thank you. Do you think the hands of 10y.o. child will play comfortably on it? Or is it more for adult size hands? Console looks pretty big.
I’m currently playing the Witcher 3 at 60 fps…it’s pretty great.
Should’ve shown the deck more
7:42 what game is that???
I had been compiling some videos for a while about the Steam Deck.
You mentioned Tutorials and Accessories, so I'll link the playlists here (they are set to collaborative if anyone wants to add):

I love my steam deck. I love it love it love it. I’ve wanted a handheld Linux gaming device for over twenty years and this thing is my jam.
its a beast for emulation and with the xbox gamepass its a must buy.Even though i love the steamdeck itstill has a long way to go software wise.
The Steam Deck is awesome so far! Just got mine(from the reservation I placed – paying scalped prices is for losers) a couple days ago.
Can you review aya neo next or pro
I really appreciate the honesty and leveled transparency in this video! Great video Kat!
I’ve just preordered it, I’m a console gamer and don’t have room for a pc but there are pc games I really want to try and also have games that aren’t available on switch on a handheld device. Like you I wont take it out and about but for me it’s the best of having a pc without the fuss of the building/acquiring a pc. I have ordered the cheapest one because you can apparently add a card for more space. Thanks for the review it was really, really helpful
I love that outfit!
🪙🪙: Volume is too low and/or mic changeup?
As someone who started with a gameboy, moved on to a ds, then to xbox, pc, and now own both a deck and a switch, I can confidently say I prefer the deck over the switch.
Not because the switch is bad, but because last I had a Nintendo device, they were pocketable. And that is the charm I wanted; a pocketable nintendo device.
If we're gonna take a mini tablet with us in a case, I'll pick whatever has the most power and utility. And since I'm Dutch, the size isn't much of an issue.
If there's one thing i know about people, is that convenience is one of the biggest sellers
I don't think the steamdeck is gonna replace the switch, most people, specially the people that buy Nintendo products, don't want to have to deal with settings and compatibility issues and stuff of that sort, they want to plop a game in they're game machine and have fun
I can see the steamdeck being very frustrating aswell, specially when even more hardware demanding games come out. Nintendo has that sorted, you can always expect quality from a Nintendo game
I’m in after q3 so instead of waiting for the steam deck I just went ahead and spent the money for an ayaneo next
great videobut your voice is so low
Valve Steam Deck = new school Sega Game Gear
Hey Kat, could you please fix your audio or get a new mic? I love your videos but the bad audio quality really makes it unwatchable and that's such a shame..
