What do you think about AI being able to create art on its own? 🙃
Human-generated art is no different, creatively speaking, from AI generated art. Everything we create as writers, painters, musicians, etc comes from our brains' algorithms and rules. We don't call it that, but that's all training and practice and influence from other artists is.
Humans are squirrelly creatures. It'll not surprise me if super advanced AI only makes a lot of people crave authenticity all the more. Fuelling a new era of low energy consumption human-to-human interaction off the smartphones &c. Justathought. 🙂
It's important people also understand macroeconomics and MMT. Machine automation and "creativity" is a massive productivity gain story, not an unemployment story. Unemployment is an unspent income story and is a government policy choice (the wrong choice). Role of private firms is to produce output with as few workers as possible. Governments issuing their own currency can always hire anyone unemployed who is willing to work for public purpose in non-bullsh*t jobs, without driving up inflation (since the private sector bid for unemployed labour is zero, by definition.)
I disagree that AI art will devalue art and take away from artists who draw, paint, sculpt…etc. . Right now we have digital downloading of music (Spotify, Amazon Music…ETC) but there are still many people who buy records. There are enough people that buy records that artists are creating records. I think art will go the same way. You'll have people who will love the AI art and maybe even make their own and put it on their wall but there will always be people who love paintings, drawings and such. There are people who still like to write with paper and pen or type on a typewriter. There are also people who still like to read paper books even though you can download digital books and even audio books. These trends show art created by people will not die anytime soon.
So you have a new subscriber and fan here. Please keep the intellectual and emotional depth in your upcoming videos 😉
3:54 or thereabouts.
have someone setup NFTs for you, that it is human art and go high end, you won't get an artist to be a business person, they are artists after all, well apart form the exceptions
what do you think human do copy till they become creative
Great video. I think the real problem with ai art is the question of automation and the effects the technology has in the hands of corporations. As someone who is doing art everyday for fun it is somewhat dissapointing that some artists are very aggressive in their rethoric against people (death threats and so on), when instead we could use it as a springboard for creativity. If anyone doing ai art and enjoys it, try pick up a pencil try to draw. Pick up a paint brush and try to paint. Let ai art inspire you to do personal art and then let your personal art inspire your ai art. Don't limit yourself, dream big and create bigger. But the real question we as a society have to talk about is automation. What will happen when big corporations can just automate their art process. It can destroy the field of human concept art for movies or videogames. It might decimate the low paying jobs of smaller companies that have a tight budget and rather save the money by having ai art instead for their book covers, board game art, album covers and so on. Those low paying jobs are often crucial for new artists starting out. Currently ai's are trained on datasets of human artists, what will happen when we have no new professional artists to train on. Will the ai suddenly have to cannabilize their own dataset and we get more
homogenized ai art. What will that do to for example hollywood, an industry already suffering from films getting more narrow and bland instead of more creative. What will happen when we just start to automate milllions of jobs in so many fields of work.
On the topic of who owns AI art… Did the person who invented the pencil get credit for the works Dickens wrote using it? I don't think so. It's a tool to be wielded & it's what you do with it that's of import.
This was amazing. And I’m still just listening. I’ll definately need to watch this one.
The mind blowing thing about all this ai talk is that we train calculating machines to solve problems and give us results we like or think as valid and true and then we identify them as cheap human imitations or danger, perhaps we are nothing more than organic computers who feel threatened by our higher capability reflections
It's a complex issue. While I believe that AI artists should be entitled to ownership of their prompts, this can be difficult to enforce when working on a public platform. The same is true for coding: if you create code as an employee of a company, it becomes the property of that company. So, if you're concerned about your work being exploited by AI, it's important to recognize that once you release it into the public domain, you may no longer have full control over it. Unless you created it in a private setting and put it behind a paywall, it may no longer be solely your property.
Just found your channel and am mainlining your awesome videos. Great content and positioning.
I feel useless. Whole my life I was learning how to draw, paint, graphic design and now after seeing things like midjourney I feel like I can throw it all to trash can. I made few AI "artworks" but I don't feel like they're mine. I have no idea how people can call it "their" art, and even sell it and don't give a fock.
I am so focken tired of all this madness. I dont't have energy to learn prompting and shit from scratch and start everything from the begining. Even the way of creating it is shitty and boring. All I wanted was just live in peace, doing what I love but now I don't want to live on this planet anymore.
Ok, here's the thing. I only discovered CHATGPT this week. Why? Because YouTube only prompts videos on topics I usually watch. This is nonsense. How do I keep up to date on the latest technology if I don't get fed the content? I happened to hear an interview with Microsoft CEO. You Tube also never sends me content my subscriptions put out. This is ridiculous. Shape up or ship out guys
You are really good at this. You deserve to have a million subs if you keep up your content at this consistent level of quality!
How did you get your captions? I love them
AI is a tool! I can’t blame bullets for killing people, them why my creativity rights shall be giving to something or someone else so can profit of it? There is at ready data mining right and for who AI work for? Great Chanel thanks 👍🏼
Excellent work Goda. Congrats and blessings with your Project. I like the format you are developing here. Original, fresh style and simply lovely content for the masses. thanks a lot for this. Hello from Dominican Republic. A question: How long it takes you to create this kind of interesiting video. Thanks in advance… !!!👍!
