Puzzle Spoiler:
The game's biggest failure are the puzzle complexity, most are solvable within two minutes of checking them out, I mean you have a relic trapped between two stone hands and to the side of each hand is a reflective plate, you also have a light source coming from the roof hitting a mirror, there are other mirrors in the room you can adjust, simply point light at the two reflective plates, it's that easy. Another puzzle has a similar set up but upon looking at it the solution is impossible, there is no possible way to target the beam of light….cue Gina, she says I will stand here with a mirror while you reflect light on it and I will hit the eye with it…puzzle solved lol. Then you have a locked door with a combination and a cipher (decoding machine) to get the decoding machine to work you need a code word, it's on the desk right in front of you, ahh but the cipher machine has no code wheels so you can't use it, the wheels are next to the machine LMAO, ahh but then you need to find out what the numerical value of the code is, the charts to convert it are on the desk too lol. It took a load of enjoyment out of the game for me, in fact the puzzles were the main thing I was looking forward to solving, devs today just think gamers are stupid, either that or they are too stupid themselves to craft a decent puzzle.
Playing on game pass and yes I'm playing it for the story, scenery and atmosphere. I actually like that there aren't so many game mechanics to worry about because games nowadays feel like a chore to me. I have Red Dead 2 on my PC, got past the first base in the snow and I can't be asked playing. Game was telling me some tutorial about my horse and I just couldn't be asked, closed the game and haven't opened it for almost a year.
I am terrible at solving puzzles. I have dropped so many good games because of too hard puzzles, for me of course. Indiana Jones is for me. It is perfect! I just can relax and play, not have to think too much and just have fun. I love it! But I get it – people want a challange. But for me, life is enough of a challange – for me, games are for relaxing and to escape from harsh reality of life.
As usual this reviewer doesnt understand you can turn off the "hand holding" features he is crying about.
This is the same guy who reviews racing sims with all driving aids turned on which totally blank out the underlying physics.

During this christmas i decided to try a few games i had on my bucket list, i started with Dredge, finished it and it's a brilliant game, loved it, next in line was Inscryption, i was kind of shocked how amazing the game is and finished it.
I was about to play Drova but unfortunately i got stuck in a cave because of a game design problem and the only way to get out of it was loading a save from 10 hours prior.
I wasn't expecting to play any other game until a friend of mine spoke to me about an Indiana Jones game i haven' t even heard about and was on gamepass, this is a game i wasn't expecting nothing out of it, i am about 20 hours in and i just love this game, game of the year for me without a doubt, apart from the stupid AI the rest is absolutely fantastic, graphics are true next gen and it runs great on native resolution, no stupid DLSS needed, the story is incredible, voice acting is incredible, it is just an amazing experience, the last time i was shocked by a game like this was when i played Kingdom Come Deliverance.
This game has been so fun! Is it realistic? Absolutely not! Is it fun? Hell yeah! I would choose fun over realism any day!
It’s actually not just stealth because it’s got kinda sandbox combat right you can run and gun just be accurate with the whip to disarm enemies

Mac you are honestly getting really lazy with these reviews. When you start the game it fucking asks you point blank if you want help with the puzzles. You say 'nah I'm good' and don't have to deal with any of that hand-holding. You played the game in accessibility mode and complain it's too easy lol.
Thought the game was enjoyable personally, well worth a £10 one off sub from xbox live.
I think you're wrong on this one. I've played about 10 hours now and it's fantastic. Yes companions can be annoying, but it's not that often. 8/10 easy.

Strongly disagree that you know if a game is good after an hour. 10 -12 hours sure. A lot of games seem amazing in their first hour and then you realise there is no depth.

A. Turn up puzzle difficulty and they wont annoy the shit out of you. B. It has a lesbian, who cares as it's not being rammed down your throat every 5 mins. This game is far from woke and saying so is extremely disingenuous to the amount of effort and attention to detail that was put into it.

I think it must be part of the agenda of making people more dumb, easier to control or what do you feel? 1. Original John Williams Indiana theme, nowhere to be found in the game!
2. 70 percent is unplayable cinematics, 30 percent is gameplay
3. In the Bible God promised Noah, He will never send another flood again. At the end of the game we see start of another flood, making God a liar.
4. Instead of making us seat in chair for countless hours watching cinematics, give us a story told with gameplay and short cinematics. We will watch original movies instead of cinematics.

The thing that really killed it for me was the trailer where he jumped on the wing of the fighter plane, walked over and hijacked it smh. The scenarios are too outlandish. Might seem cool to 4 year olds though… edit – disgusted to see its also woke with race swapping and fake diversity.

Playing this on Gamepass. Agree with the review (except I hate puzzles – so help with those doesn’t matter). It’s fun to a degree, but stealth ain’t really my thing either.
Graphics look far better on PC than Series X. Not yet played on Series S, but will try it. I hear that it plays pretty well.
