My beloved Simba came to the door when I'd return home ❤❤❤❤
My cat isn't particularly cuddly but when I get home after a short or long absence she greets me very enthusiastically, it's the time she lets me pick her up and kiss her, but she much prefers it if I'm leaning backward when I do, she gets a more horizontal cuddle which seems more comfy for her. She seems to get too hot to be cuddled, so I just appreciate her greetings and the fact she follows me everywhere. There's only one time she'll let me stroke her belly and that's when she's just woken up from a nap, that's when I get the really chilled cat. She's barely a year old, still a kitten really, so I hope as she gets older the cuddles will increase.

My cat would sleep on her back and snore/purr for like 14 hours a day. When she wasn't doing that she was laying on my chest staring at me while I play my PC and occasionally jumping down to take care of biological needs. She never meowed though. She was a very weird cat.

Get an older or younger cat, they’ll brighten your life forever. Leave the water and food out. Change the litter box when needed or less or it’s an outside cat. They stick by you. Easy stuff.

Not one week goes by without one of my cats, Caesar, going to sleep on the bed next to where I'm sitting at the computer, and his favorite position seems to be flat on his back. Though he does actually enjoy a gentle belly rub, and will even complain when I stop.
He's also a complete coward who hides the very instant he realizes that any human, other than I, is in the apartment XD
The tail being up is like a shark fin when I'm in bed. You see it you know the cat is about to jump on the bed.
