They should have spent more time adding meaningful interactions and content to the game. Even a superficial Fable morality system would have been welcomed.
Just bought Shadow of War definitve edition for 6$ and love lotr, just saying ill wait for an 20$< deal.
Why would you spoil the final boss
harry potter should have a morality system way more than Red Dead 2 ever needed. being able to become an evil wizard with a seperate ending would have been dope.
Very good review. I was trying to find someone's review that echoed my feelings about the game which I don't usually do, but this game had me waffling between liking it and not liking it. I finished it and even did 100% completion, but that was mostly because I was more bored not playing it than I was playing while I await a DLC for one of my favorite games.
I was incredibly underwhelmed by this game although I found the graphics to be up top. I did feel like I was spending a lot of my time walking through an animated painting instead of playing a game.
Thank you for your review.
I still don't want to play this game. My cousin got it and played it, and I watched. It looks amazing, it seems fluid, and I didn't notice any horrible debilitating bugs. I'm not religious anymore, but I still can't shake what my mom told me. I couldn't even watch Ed, Edd, and Eddy because she thought it was for stupid people and would make me stupid. I ain't stupid, but I'm a lil' slow.
Basically just make the game more like persona lol
Thank you so much for the review. I’ve been looking through all sorts of reviews and rants, and yours was definitely the best. One of my rules when it comes to gaming is: if you have to ignore the side quests or collectibles in order to have fun, then the game is a fail for me. Also, the fact that you said that if you’re just looking for something new and you’re not a Harry Potter fan, it’s a seven really helped. I played games when I’ve given them a seven and I always ended up getting sick of them. Also, the fact that the suits are ugly and more or less useless for most of the time is kind of a fail for me. I was definitely disappointed to hear that this game did not have a morality system. I was really hoping it would be similar to life is strange season one where practically every character in the game will either respect you or hate you depending on how you treat them. The reason I stopped being a Harry Potter fan was because I didn’t like the story or the characters and to hear that the story for this game isn’t that great either really makes me sad.
The only interesting plotline was Sebastian's and also how Morganach lost her mind. Otherwise it was very bland.
Hogwarts is amazing, so is flying on broom, but the world is void of interesting things to do.
In my opinion, a hugely missed opportunity for Co-op. Also, Xbox missing a huge opportunity to use their Kinect + microphone for spell casting. Then again what do I know
This game is a 7/10
First off im 20 seconds deep but TBH really getting swole out here! Shoutout to the goat!
Was looking for a reason to unsub tbh lmfaoo, channel fell off
You voiced my feelings about this game completely. Also very accurate pros and cons list.
I ain’t getting it til they add Quidditch. 🤨
Anybody else have a problem with the collection page not showing certain appearance items that you most definitely have in your inventory and wear multiple times cuz that’s been bugging me and I can’t platinum trophy the game with completing all those collection pages
I was so gassed about this game for the first like 30-40 hours don’t get me wrong, but now that I’m done I have some gripes. The biggest one was just it was too easy. Rarely had to try more than once at a quest, if I died it was more carelessness or laziness than actually challenging combat. Also I feel like the end of the story is really weak and it sucks that Sebastian’s story isn’t even properly finished imo.
I mean from a person who watched/read all harry potters and enjoyed them very much. The game does represent hogwarts very well. Deff lacks some morality but with dlc it could be more intriguing
They uploaded a HAMU tik tok. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ehhh I’d argue more than decent but I get it.
I’m Echoing what somebody else said, but it’s true. Everytime one of my friends asks me about a game I refer them to you. Been watching for years and never regretted it. Keep going my G! 💪🏾
I'd give it a 8. I wish there were actual consequences for dialogue choices, and using forbidden spells. I thought there'd be a bad ending so I went out of my way to be evil but nope.
Long time fan/sub of yours and love how Ubisoft can always catch shade 🤣
This game is a 7 for me. What it does well it does really well, namely hogwarts itself and hogsmeade and the general atmosphere and detail. I spent more time exploring the castle than doing anything else. Finding all the rooms and secret hallways was a real pleasure. So I wish they put more or even all their focus into that. There could've been a house points system (lots of potential there), and more interaction with the other students as it often feels lonely. I found the open world RPG elements to be a bit dull. The enemies, locations, and loot all became a bit repetitive and boring. I never walked past a cave and wanted to go in to fight enemies and find a chest. Just wish I got more of a hogwarts experience.
The side story with Sebastian was more interesting than the actual main story, this game should’ve been released 10 years ago
Yea it started off great it just kinda lulled as I got into the fetch quest spots and found myself just going for map completion. That made me just wanna play AC Odyssey instead, which keeps my attention a bit more.
I agree
I'll say in Harry Potter no one has morality. Everyone is out for self in the movies. Good and evil wizards still work together. So I can get past it slightly but idk why not just add a basic light and dark meter
Man I've watched ur growth from just voice over assassin creed vids them modern warnegro days to being the top g u are today and I still love your content u keep it 100% everytime which keeps me tapped in and looking to u for game advice keep it up bro
It should have been an online multi-player
