This was when New York was still sane—no masks, no paranoia, cat cafes that are for everyone (not just for the wealthy with money to waste) and that are actually rescuing all kinds of animals. late to the party but… i love cats and i totally LOVE rats, my grandma once had about 12 cats (excluding cat litters) and i had 3 groups of 12 rats a few years back , i even have rats rattooed on my arm. Rats are like a pocket puppies, super smart, friendly, cuddly, funny and cleaner than cats themselves! Wish we had animal cafes in my country too ;-;

What hurts my heart is the fact that average cat lifespan is about 15 years if I remember correctly and rats have the average lifespan of about 2-4 years (according to a site the longest living rat was about 7 years old). Its been 5 years since this video was released and I fear that sadly the white friend was not so lucky to live that long.
