5:45 If I were Pocketpair, the first thing that I would look into is merchandise. There is certainly some money to be made selling items branded / inspired by this game.
7:30 I would be fine with a narrative driven story. The thing about Palworld is that the pals that Pocketpair created lend themselves quite well to multiple genres and could be reinterpreted in a number of ways.

I don't have the time and money to play Palworld yet, so I hope year 2 happens for Palworld. I want to buy some of the latest Nintendo games because I had been wanting them for a long time, but once it gets to the next console generation, I am never touching Nintendo products again. I might even modify my Switch because they probably will have decreased security soon enough.
I hope poketpair wins so we can get progressive updates. Im on ps5 and the server connections are ASS

Pocketpair would be fantastic if they partner with Bandai in making a Digimon game. Simply put, Palworld but with Digimon instead.

The only reason Nintendo is suing Palworld is just to shut them down and Nintendo can release their own Palworld style Pokemon game. Based on that leak, its exactly like Palworld without the killing. Basically Tem Tem but with Building and Survival like Palworld. Nintendo is only doing this just to try and shutdown Palworld so everyone who likes that style has to buy and play Nintendos version and then patent it so no one can make it. Another reason for my Nintendo Switch staying as a Coffee Coaster.

I've been a Pokemon fan since the 90's but even I know how the Pokemon IP is just a festering corpse held up by Youtubers and people deep in nostalgia. They keep putting out subpar game after game and their latest offering have been a laggy buggy mess with its jump to Switch and they keep doing this because there really isn't another game like it that can compete with it. I was hopping Palworld would kinda knock some sense into them to make a better product but them registering patents a week before they decided to sue Palworld tells me all I need to know.
I can undrstand why they didnt even try w a narrative even though i want one. Gotta see if they can live through the nintendo legal fights first. Im soo here for though, il always be a pokemon fan and love it. But they need to up their game. If this doesnt do it who knows what will, and its an awesome game. 10/10 as far as im concerned il give ya 30$ all day long

Problem is Nintendo might hoard more patents so they'll have the excuse to sue another small companies or individuals. The fact that the government bodies that manage Patent laws don't do anything to stop Nintendo from being greedy adds more to the problem.
Because of Companies like Nintendo, many game developers are afraid to make innovative games because of the risk of getting sued by Nintendo, and people wonder why there are no games on PS5.
Sony and Microsoft will also get affected by the ripple effect if Nintendo were to win the lawsuit. No games mean Sony and Microsoft's products won't get any buyers.

I think if they partner with Disney they could put Nintendo in the rearview within days of announcing it, not giving Disney the rights but using them as a 50/50 partner on a large scale project. Maybe even a park attraction.
Do people ask if Battlefield is a copy of CoD? Of course not, they only want to know if it’s better. Pokemon has virtually no competition and because of this they’re afraid of its potential to out succeed them. Where Palworld does, Pokemon doesn’t. Quite simple.
