I found my kitten at around 8 weeks old. It makes perfect sense now why he likes to bite us and play attack our super gentle adult cat (who hates it). He never properly socialized and shortly after finding him he got very sick with FIP so he was mostly isolated and drugged up on gabapentin from 12 weeks old to 24 weeks old. Just bought your clickers and training cards on amazon. Can’t wait for them to arrive today so I can hopefully turn a spoiled brat into a well behaved gentleman lol
My cat was 12 weeks when we got him, but I believe he was born as a stray, and was taken in at 3 weeks. When I got him he was malnourished and had worms, it took a while to get him healthy. He’s a very aggressive player, even though he had a litter mate until we adopted him. He’s 15 months now, and I’m still covered in bites and scratches, but it’s much less frequent than it used to be. He’s a very emotional cat 😂😂 I have a psych degree and use all the tricks, but he’s a stubborn little guy. He is great with other things though, like walking on a lead, interacting with other animals, etc.
I am a Muslim and whenever I pray my kitten comes and attack me, today she bite my face and, I don't no how to stop her 😢
Found our kitty in the woods at about 8 weeks seemingly abandoned. She definitely attacks our ankles pretty hard when she wants to play. She's over a year now so I'm hoping it's not too late to teach her not to do this. Thank you for a great video.
I got my little biter when he was 4 weeks young 😢
She crawls all over me and cry's bites, scratch
Mine was a new born awww it attacks me all the time smh
How soon can this be reinforced , my little one is about 8 weeks old
Bro my cat scratched the shit out of my face while I was just trying to kiss him 😢
I got my Siamese bengal mix at 7-8 weeks. I was told she was 8 weeks but the vet said she younger. She is 7 mos now She is very anti social and plays very agressivly and unfortunately the only play she seems to like is attacking my hands under the sheets. I have tried lots of different toys trying to play with her but it’s so boring cuz all she does is sit and watch me! Any suggestions
My kitten was just barely 2 weeks old when we found him stuck in fishing line. (WAY TO YOUNG!) He couldn't walk for about a month after because one of his front paws was messed up. So we unfortunately played with him with our hands. He has been getting better… but he bites me way too much.
I am a landlord and have a cat . Sometimes let a renter play with her when I can’t . But he allows her to play with hands and feet so now I am evicting him .
I'm watching this while my cat is eating and munching of my toes 🥲
8 weeks old from a shelter .. adopted 8/7/24 & he was in 1 of 2 litters found in a hoarding situation. Furley can be incredibly sweet but he will bite & latch on & scratch me out of nowhere especially when I’m in bed… I’m full of scabs & scars on my hands, arms & legs. I’m so frustrated. 😩
I found a kitten 4 weeks old.So you tell me that she will always more agressive than other cats?
We made the mistake with playing with hands and now we have to pay the price by having scars all over our hands and arms each day😭 Hes probably around 4 months old. He will attack us even when were still.
2mths when I got my fur baby
She 3mths now
And play aggression is at a all time high😩
You have a great energy! I enjoyed watching your video and seeing your laughs and enthusiasm a LOT! Thank you for sharing this with the world.
I brought my little girl home when she was 6 weeks old and I also brought her siblings.. so I had 6 kittens and the only reason why I did this is because the lady who has the mother, wanted the kittens gone.. so it was take them to the shelter or bring them home.. since they were together and already able to eat kitten food, i knew it would be ok.. My little girl and all her siblings because yes, we still have all of them.. are very well adjusted Cats.. very calm and very sweet.. exept for my Mazie.. she is too independent and hates it when I try to pick her up so I cry instead because she wont let me hold her 🙁
can someone explain something to me? i got my male cat at i think three months, he lived in a house with his littermates but also a lot of children that played pretty roughly, but at our house he was pretty calm and affectionate at first. He did bite everything he saw, but we thought it would pass with time. Now at 5 years old he is very agressive, but only when you pet him beyond his neck. on his head its fine and he loves that, he will lay on his back and show his belly which is a sign of trust i think, but the moment you pet him anywhere that's not his head he will go full on agressive on you and bite and scratch with all he's got. But the moment you pet him on the head again its like nothing happened. I got a cat to cuddle with, not to be afraid of. Can someone please explain what/why this is and maybe how to fix it?
