I saw the episode on encounters of this incident. They interviewed one of the students as an adult who was adamant he was the one who was the mastermind behind the story. He did seem a little off though and seemed to be trying too hard and inauthentic to prove this story was a hoax

I wouldn't be surprised if he'd gotten a recent death threat that bent his mind that way, but I also believe in the human ability to experience pre-cognition. It's well established in dream research that ppl often dream of things that then come to pass.
I was especially revolted by that white-haired, pompous fool in the story who was hoping John Mack would collect himself & be doing better soon. It so embarrassing to see academics make complete asses of themselves by being so close-minded, even at Harvard University.

I remain unconvinced. ….."Dallyn Vico, a former student at the Ariel School, claimed that he was the originator of the entire incident. He told his classmates that a “shiny rock” in the distance was a UFO, and expressed surprise at the “mass hysteria” which followed.

BTW I have done HOURS of reasearch into this because it's just so fascinating. You can dismiss it all you want but 25 years later they are all telling the same story (unfortunately one died 2 months ago from a brain tumor but she stuck to her story, in fact is messed her up even as an adult). I had a similar story when I was in elementary but instead of UFOs my whole school said that they saw Bloody Mary. I saw a creepy face in the bathroom. It was a crazy day. The principal had to make a special meeting with the whole school that day.

When hundreds of people have CE1's thru CE4's, how can anyone argue the idea that the crafts/beings exist. The question should be what do they want and where are they from. Humans sample the deep oceans where the creatures are unusual. But so are we to those creatures. Are they just scientists perusing the Deep?

This gave me a new look on one aspect of this phenomenon. The images being projected by the beings may not necessarily be warnings of visions of impending situations. They may be images meant to create a response in the human beings. And that response being recorded as part of some experiment. Possibly even to confirm that shock and horror are effective deterrents when dealing with human beings. They may have even wanted to chase the children away and were trying different techniques to achieve that goal. It did not sound like the craft was forced to land as it quickly took off very soon after the encounter with the children. It would be interesting to follow up with the children as adults in these situations and find out if THEY were harassed by government and military about what happened to them as children. That would be an interesting development if it were the case. Especially interesting in situations where military and government adults were DELIBERATELY involving children against their will in these programs and then having the gall to harass them as adults. In some cases I don't suggest they do that. Maybe those 'children' have 'friends' in high places? 😉
