Been on PC forever now. So glad I switched and sold my consoles. PS5 and XBOX are garbage. Not the systems but the companies. The systems could handle alot of PC ganes but licensing is bs.
I too waited 27 years for this, or rather 26 since I've been playing it from it's PC early access release. Trust me it was even more rough but as you said the fun and the fidelity to the source material have always been there!
It's fun definitely worth it . Developers keep updating it too people role play alot and it's not as glitchy for me on PS5 I do have Ethernet cable tho.only complaint is that I wish the enemy spawn animation was better

Awesome review my friend. I’m playing on the series X and I’m having a blast. Yesterday they put out an update for series X that really buffed the performance. I can’t speak ps5 behalf though but I’m sure they are working around the clock to optimize this wonderful game.
I was your age when I saw the first movie and I always wanted to quote "do my part" 😅
What I’m really impressed by is how all the bodies can pile up. Because it changes the entire battlefield. Sure you may be able to repair the walls and keep them standing. But all the dead bodies will pile up and eventually they will crawl over the walls and eat your face off.
Flame throwers are great for clearing dead bugs…
Really awesome game and I can’t wait to see what they will bring. I have heard they are working on the exo suits from the animated movie and even Mechs.
Definitely a fun game.

The suppression effect visually reminds me of them tube TV cable days it's perfection. I was 13 when the movie released too and I'm so happy with my purchase. This is loads of fun!
