The Steam Deck LCD and OLED have the same spec chip, the only difference is the nm – that's why it's more efficient. The FPS bump only comes from faster RAM.
They really should release new hardware every 4 years and have support for them for 8 year aka tick toc kind of cycle. Also think console should do that instead of xbox series s/x they support both, both play all the games the other does just the new one looks better.

the issue where you have to pop the sd card out and back in is also an issue on win11; I purchased mine with it installed already. it had the issue and I thought it was a hardware or windows driver issue since it had been upgraded (256gb => 512gb ssd). windows doesnt even see the card anymore until I pop it out and back in
