why when i go to the dectus lift the portal don't activate
Bro I've unlocked almost the entire map of the game. And my level is 117 But the Raidan Festival hasn't started for me yet. I can't find Jester Knight and I haven't met Ranni because she's not in the tower.

in my last playthrough i remember beating up all the enemies, then seeing all the people and fighting radhan. I forget if i beat rennala first though, I definetly remember fighting the two lions and all the enemies so the festival must have not started yet. This playthrough i have to fight a dude with a crucible knight. Can i beat those two now and come back once the festival has started later? I dont want to mess up any quests. I dont remember what i did so that the festival started last time. I thought i just beat all the enemies and in that room with all the furniture i would see all the npc's and stuff because the festival had started. idk

What if you’ve activated the lift and progressed Ranni’s quest to the point that requires Radahn to be killed yet when you go into the castle it’s empty and no NPCs are anywhere?

i unlocked dectus platau but it still doesnt work???
I triggered Ranni’s quest, joined the medallions and activated the grace in altas, talked to the maiden and then I went to Redmane castle.
At this point:
Alexander and Blaidd were already standing there (I hadn’t done any of ranni’s tasks except meet the three in her castle and meet Seluvis. Seluvis gave me the potion which I gave to Nephali’s dad to save her.
Now the issue is, Blaidd isn’t in siofra river. He’s in the redmane castle along with the NPCs.
I can’t seem to get this to work, I can’t talk to the announcer, when I roam around below where he stands in the courtyard it gives me the option to talk but I spam it and it does nothing. As if I can talk to air, help pls
Also Seluvis isn’t giving me any more tasks except learning sorcery. I even tried killing Seluvis and performing absolution to reset it but it’s still the same. I can’t seem to be able to activate Radahn, or is my game glitched where it shows me the dialogue spot incorrectly in the courtyard and it won’t activate the speech with the announcer. What do I do?

When i go through the grand lift of dectus and then i go to the portal at the impassable great bridge it says cannot be used now and i already be the misbegotten m warrior and crucible knight and talked to the old guy idk what to do
I went to this video because i forgot how to activate the festival and i apparently never activated the dectus lift.Ive beaten the game before i activated the lift.

I feel lucky because there was no bosses when I entered the castle and I got to fight radhan immediately also, use summons they helped me beat him big time I beat him on my 3rd attempt using the summons to distract him while I did most of the damage while he was locked onto them
when I try to get through the castle I have to fight two bosses that I am having a hard time with. Is there a way to avoid these two and have the festival start another way?

Honestly it's been a while since I played and I hopped back on to find that I could do the dlc but messed up the side quests for the npcs cause I entered shadow keep before I should've and I killed certain bosses first. Also completely forgot how to activate the radahn festival. Thanks to you, I now remember
