Wish I could live for another 1000 years to see it happen. No technology currently exists to protect from bone decay, radiation protection, technology to get Mars journeys to happen. Even Musk cannot get his rockets to LEO, nor get his colonisation math correct. Fantasy is brilliant!

Because we are stupid ? Light speed WILL NOT be broken, without breaking reality, besides terraforming is an absolute impossible dream. We don't even have a moon base, which would be VERY costly, not much use for it, mining not viable … go beyond and terraform it … LOL

This colonization thing is quite hilarious!…well everyone knows this fact…”what does it take to he life at all on a planet?”..well….a sun ☀️…..?…so when the sun is finished then there will be no more humanity even if we move to mars,pluto ,moon whatever!!….so this is just a super naïve illusion..a desperate handling to think this will be a solution to the problem cause it will N O T!…the only solution will be to travel faster then the speed if light….try to find another planet with the same or close to the same conditions as we have now …with another star = sun that can support that/us……so all that colonization dreaming is only a waste of time and money…..only fooling themselves those whom thinks of this!….one of the best comments i ever heard was “ we humans do everything we can to try to find intelligent life in outer space…should we not put in all efforts to try to find it here on earth first??”….and stop to destroy what we already have??…something to give a thought!

Wind is quite viable and more usable even with forced motion. Test them side by side with the information about orbital bodies surface winds, and durational solar capacity. Wind doesn't stop at night. I pairing of them both, even recycling the wind generated from evaporation of the stellar ice sources would give a good start. Magnetic turbine efforts would also maintain the energy in low wind and low solar situations. They also need to skip the tires and go track driven rovers with gearing for faster surface speeds. I don't see snowmobiles with tires moving through the snow (sand), or go full surface no use and use larger scaled drone style air flight for rovers, or inflatable like the hover boats technology and propellor for much more effective travel. Tires not built for sand and loose stellar planetary or lunar surfaces that I've seen are not very well designed for dust type surfaces. Solar panels need a mounted self cleaning sweep, or air driven venting, that would self clean the surface with a quick burst or simple sweep across to maintain solar viability after storms. They are missing alot of the more simplistic solutions that we have existing technology and references to use galactically. It isn't all rocket science. Sometimes general concepts are needed before specific ones or to solve and prepare for solutions and expansion in specifics. Look at problems as solutions in that way much easier. What isn't and what is works both ways.

Humans best chance of survival is on earth. We will have to move around and take the best land. There will be war, but there will be a winner and those people will survive much better on earth. They will send the losers to Mars. Earth is where it’s at. Even with an asteroid or a global warming (scam) catastrophe. There will always be a good spot to live. Once those ice caps melt Antarctic it will be the new California, without the liberals. Winners will live there. Liberals can take a ship to mars where it will most definitely SUCK.

Yeah the earth has limited resources but we are nowhere close to using it all up
