Such a 🚮 game. I don't know why press X is constantly floating in my face, as if they assume that I don't know how to jump… yep they don't have any tutorial for Megazord mechanics LOL. It feels like a rigged claw machine game intended to keep you ENGAGED.

The Zord sections are the worst part of the game. Definitely would be better without it.
I found the game pretty fun, though trying to play alone can be quite frustrating. I’m hopeful the ending will mean future dlc for us. Speaking of DLC, maybe they could change from the dinozords to the Thunderzords and Tigerzord. Or, new characters to play as from the other Saban shows like Masked Rider or VR Troopers.
A lot of season 1 stuff is missing that should be DLC. The villainess Scorpina, the sword of darkness that the evil Green Ranger used, the 2nd sound the dragon dagger played, Dragonzord should be playable in battle mode, Dragonzord in fighting mode combined with the mastodon, triceratops and sabertooth tiger, Titanus and the Ultrazord formation is also missing. The villan Lokar should also be added for the Ultrazord battle.
Whoever played it in THIS video WALKED IN to some kid those blasts during the Megazord battle.
Does anyone know if you can upgrade the rangers? Because only having 2 lives in those zord levels is annoying

7:42 actually you can as a ranger when you walk past another ranger it will give you the option to swap with another ranger 😀 it is pretty cool mechanic
tbh its at least a 9/10. the megazord fights are a little annoying and slow. but the driving sections/3d sections are really good
tbh, if the online coop worked well/was available and the source material for the art direction was cooler a la turtles,
then this easily beats out shredder's revenge.
simply because more detail/interactive stuff in the levels, way more varied level design than flat left-to-right of shredder's revenge, and more challenge on normal difficulty in rita's rewind. none of that taunt>supermove bailout that makes shredder's revenge too easy.
the ost is pretty good, especially the carnival level.
feels like the devs tried more than turtles devs who kept to stale missions and refused to add levels over 2 dlc packs:
jus the smoother online coop and more memorable franchise is the only major things shredder's does better.
if the online had budget and was available on series x, rita's rewind wins
streets of rage is boring and super slow, gameplay wise. shredder's too easy.
rita's rewind is the shredder's revenge dlc we never got. well worth the price imo.
playin it solo bcoz no one online on ps4 so far, and its still fun. pretty hard tho. but fair, unlike the endless mobs and damage sponge boss fights in karate kid beatemup thats good but too hard solo and lacks online gameplay sadly.
anyway, if they add/improve the online, rita's rewind is the best online beat em up right now. but they wont becoz budget/nature of videogames launching without all the features.

disagree on the rating IGN. In comparison to other beat em ups like Streets of Rage 4 and TMNT Shredder's Revenge, POWER RANGERS RITA's REWIND here severely lack flavor. Everyone gets an all screen nuke with different animations but has no real uniqueness. Their normal combos are just rehashes of each other like a punch kick then their weapons. biggest issue also is the Zord section. same mechanics to punch, dodge the enemies. only the bosses outside of zord fights have unique flavors here.
So my first power rangers game was the one I got for super Nintendo when rocky was the red ranger. So I get the whole nostalgic thing with the 2d graphics but also I hope they make one in like 3d I'm jus being honest. I don't like the graphics. The cartoon.

Beat the game and the difficulty is super hard even for easy and anything beyond for me is frustrating and they want you to beat hard and headache difficulty for trophies but I really did enjoy the game but wish u could get more lives and make the game a little more forgiving

The Rangers are way too slow and clunky. This wants to be Shredder so badly (the main menu even has the same font) but it just falls short. If they would speed up the fights I’d love it a lot more.
To all the bozos saying why would you want to fight as there regular form, have you ever watched the show? They always fought unmorphed. Why didn't they make that a feature now? They would have to pay out the original actors, plus the yellow ranger and green ranger are dead. That could get messy.

The difficulty spike is nuts. That needs fixed. And it’s so short. Hope there’s dlc. Maybe lord zed. And wasn’t as smooth as tmnt. But still had fun with it. But I also have 4 kids who played with me

But do the power rangers even play differently from each other? At least with TMNT they have different reach, speed, etc due to their weapons. And Shredder's Revenge introduced RPG features and side missions, which quite improved the genre. Rita's Rewind is more like an old school beat 'em up.

Its not a 8 , a 6 at best. Having no online at launch is ceazy. The move set is not anything to be happy about. Cheap redundant enemies. Zord section is mediocre. I wish i didn't buy.
