So this game hasn't even been properly optimised for base PS5 and PS5 PRO yet and is using a terrible technology (frame gen) as a crutch which adds more input delay because it buffers two frames, creates a fake one to go in between then sends them to the display.

If optimized properly, the ps5 pro should easily be able to run 60 fps on the balanced preset. Pretty disappointing performance on a $700 console

Hi, just started wukong, and I'm running on balanced mode in ps5 pro. I think you haven't covered performance on chapter 3 that is tanked so hard, specially at the outer pagoda shrine, not even VRR can save this. Please I suggest you explore the game thoroughly before making statements like this
Playing balanced mode on base PS5. 120HZ OLED, game boost mode, minimise input lag settings etc. Game drops inputs constantly.
I have had more issues with input response this gen than any other… Elden Ring, GOW Ragnarok. It's so frustrating. Especially when you look at something like Returnal which handled perfectly. Developers need to up their game.
Even on ps5 pro with 120 Herz, TV, VRR its still not fluent. The Background looks for me blurry and not smoth, when gaming it. I was hoping it will be fixed. Its better with Pro, but other games are smother

After all the raving reviews of the graphics i purchased this game and dropped it after 4 hours. Its a blurry mess of shit on a bse Ps5 and i cant stand it. Runs like total dog shit! and the level design is total trash! couldnt stand it.
Is a shame for games that GPUs like PS5 were able to run games like The Division 2 at native 4K60fps, while now shitgames like this one needs to run at 1080P and FSR to achieve 30fps. Intentionally designed to sell new gen PC GPUs. Pure badly optimized, pure intentional waste of resources.

Since the pro has more powerful gpu than the base one..I think they should increase the graphics and also add ray tracing too…Also we should get a 60fps mode using pssr.
I guess considering a 5090 runs this game below 30fps, the locked 40fps mode is great.

Pro looks barely if at all better than PS5 Slim. Seems like they haven’t figured out how to max Pro to give us a reason to buy it so soon for many of us after getting a PS5. The game looks fun afk. There’s a sale for $40 for complete ultimate edition on PS4 & PS5 editions. Worth it?

So in short they didn’t fix the main issue with the game, frame gen. Unfortunately won’t be experiencing this game due to this laziness
