I really don't know who to feel bad for. The enemy or the wretch.
When you get to the final boss (the hardest one). For me personally enjoy it every second and never kill the boss till I reach the perfection. This is the best of soul game offer. Don’t rush finishing the boss. Learning how to use different weapon combine with incantation to perfect moment in final boss fight is the most fun of this game. The perfection of timing when you are god yourself. This feeling is worth practicing and it will change your perspective upon every game you play
