The tail is the hardest method when your dog has a tiny tail
Well in my case, I can confirm 100% that when my dog or any dogs in my hometown, pull their ears slightly backwards and in downward fashion, it means they are very happy about the situation, often times to meet or see a person. I guess this certain body language's meaning may differ from breed to breed, becuz I've seen whenever an Indie breed is happy to see you, is excited and glad, they pull their ears backwards and downward fashion. At the same time, they'll be jumping on you, trying to lick your face, their hind/ back half body along with their tails will be swaying from left to right(/right to left) in full force, to the point that it may concern you that the dog may separate it's body into two halves by wagging their tail that hard/that swiftly in full fledge 😂. They're so adorable. Also when they show this certain behaviour, it is also accompanied with their pupils enlarged and it also kinda looks like they're smiling. In situations when they're nervous, worried or are afraid of something, then too they slightly pull their ears down but it is to be noted that this pulling down of ears is accompanied with kinda lowering down their body, looking up with nervousness in their eyes, their tail is pulled inwards towards their stomach or chest whilst passing through between their hind legs.
Question. I have a Shiranian and he is a pretty small dog. When he seems happy, his whole body lunges forward but he stays in the same spot. He usually does this afew times. Why is he doing this?
