Is Forspoken REALLY That Bad??

I am watching this 1 day late cause I played the game all day yesterday. Scratching my head at all of the hate

Game is fun! The reviews are crazy

Nice review man I’m 7 hours in and it’s really good I’m enjoying it I do feel people are seeing all the hate and they mind is made up but honestly it’s a nice game i can’t wait to jump back into it tonight

It's ok game it's not that bad like how people saying about it this days people just wanna complain about everything why can't we play a game just for the game

I've been playing the demo, it's more fun than I expected, I don't think it deserves as much hate as it's getting, buuuuuut that banter between Fray and Cuff makes me roll my eyes every 2 minutes. Cringe really is the right word for it. I might pick it up on sale one day. But yea, gameplay wise, not as bad as what a lot of reviews are saying.

The little things. The score system. XP in little things. The 'add and remove upgrades' if you don't like it (how many crafting or abilities or weapons could you not get rid of and went back a save now you don't have to worry about that. Maybe some other game does this but I forget which and very few do it I think) you can add it to something else like armour. I think people overlook this game.

To me like Haven Call of the King is ambitious and people don't care at all. Ambitious games people don't care about. I mean Dead Rising is good for tons of things in it to use as a weapon but oh Breath of the Wild does it, it's fine years later. Like some people react differently at different times to things. It's hilarious to watch and point out first or those that want to push something so much that's recent do it when it never was the firyor the best at doing it. Some side ideas are better like Space Station Silicon Valley, Scaler, Under the Skin or Dr Muto then DK64 having a barrel for characters being a hindrance then other games people never played that had a better solution.

This game I have been waiting years for games to do action combo battle in an open world (Assassin's Creed, Batman style I hate and Breath of the Wilds was so hard to time it wasn't playable for me. I played Bayonetta 2 and Botw on Wii U I know I can play using that controller Bayonetta 2 feels great to play still today. So being fast not boring and slow like most characters that are heavy and boring to play as it's.nice to see a more flexible character and flips and other movement personality like Biomutant had running around the world as an animal.

It has personality, Cuff and Frey bounce off each other well. Her development will happen over time but still. Funny remarks are definitely in the game that's for sure. (the dialogue is passable I've seen worse in shovelware or some anime but most people don't so their standards are too high and not reasonable when they won't touch anything lower. So to me if there is anime with worse then this and it has a better isekai another world story intro segment then most anime that's how good this is for me. There is some luck of Japan having good isekai apparently then the terrible novel writers or visual novel games with terrible intros doing it so brief then to make us care about their characters bedoythey go into the world. Why they had such a life why I should care what happens to them or these fantasy characters and the actions and events whether to build a town back up, fight a dragon or whatever.

It's not Narnia or Alice and Wonderland even if inspired but it's still good) not be serious and drab and boring. It's not a snoring walk fest and whatever emotional forces moments (Last of Us or God of War, Horizon ero Dawn Aloy felt more genuine I just hates the gameplay I was so bored before or after 20 hours of it and gave it a go. Even Spiderman PS4 I got bored with only 1% or about 3 different side missions maybe the taskmaster ones a bit did I enjoy, even the puzzles in Doc Oct's lab I loved those) it feels geninue.

The goal of the people in the past are interesting to follow on what happened in the world. The Tantas.

The papers are cool. The ability to run around like Sonic Frontiers is by design and I'm all for it I don't want a building or village every 5 metres. I want space to run around. To prove the disaster the world is in. Elden Ring and Breath of the Wild are in ruins it's fine to space things out. Oh Breath of the Wild has iconic areas yeah it had years and many games to do that and build up to it, other IPs don't have that so it's a bit unfair I think for people to judge and prefer other open world's that don't have that ability and can build upon themselves.

The swearing is a bit much but I don't mind. Cuff is that along for the ride/narrator kind of vibe and he is great a character you want to be there besides your particular protagonist. I thought he was more aware of the world but he isn't so that surprised me. This game fits that Spiderman, Infamous, Sunset Overdrive, Gravity Rush vibe for me and I love it.

It's always games I like that always get pushed aside I just know I have a gift of that nowadays it seems like anything I like people don't.

Critic's want old-school modernised with indies and souls games and whatever casual game to put tons of awards on if it's not that it's 6/7 it seems. To me 6/7 are the best game I experience and everything else is boring and overdone in comparison.

From what I played of the demo of this game it felt very meh. Not something I'm interested in myself
