What's your favorite thing about the Corgi? Let us know!
A warning to those considering getting a Corgi: be prepared to fall insanely in love with them.
If I take my corgi on a walk within two blocks, he fully potatoes on the grass 😂
I said I would never own a 'small' dog, I breed and raised Labradors and had other 'big' dogs in my life, however, my curiosity got the best of me a couple years ago and I was smitten with the breed. I have had my tri color Corg, for 3 years now and I can never see myself without one in my life going forward. They are such a joy with a 'big' dog attitude. I totally love them.
I named mine Billy Corgigan.
I am on my second Corgi. They are really special and unique dogs. Ours is a true family member and keeps us on our toes. So intelligent, funy and has an astounding ability to know what we are thinking and saying. Also he is a master manipulator, knowing exactly how to get what he wants. Best dog ever – um ……except for the shedding part!
I'm about to be a first time corgi owner and I'm so excited about it
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶
I love to have this dog
I've heard nothing but bad about them, being stubborn and destructive. Nice to see a positive video for a change.
I have a Pembroke and a Cardigan bc I could never keep them straight. With one of each it’s easy. Love them both. Cardi is easy going while the Pembroke is bossy and a bit on the stubborn side.
Thanks. Im a gamer kid and this will definitely help me getaway from my console. And im gwtting one soon so thanks again!
We have owned PWC’s since the mid 90’s, almost no one knew the breed when we got started. One thing I will say: they’re cute and they’re smart enough to know it. Exceptionally intelligent. They are the most manipulative breed of dog I have ever owned. And we love them for it.
is the best dog in the world
I wish I had a daughter to spoil with one
Just lost my best friend of ten years. Not more than a half hour ago, my beautiful corgi, Pete, slipped away.
I don't think I've ever hurt this much.
When are their shedding seasons?
Getting my 1st corgi in November! Can't wait! Watching as many videos as possible! Tho we had 7 dogs, this will be our 1st puppy.
IS THAT GATSBY
Have had Cardis 15 years, and now my first Pem just turned 6 mos. What a difference! Cardis are very serious and take care of you; watch over you and the neighbor's cattle. Cardis are not cuddly and love to work but disembowel any toy instantly, altho' they do like to play and get belly rubs. This Pem is bossy, stubborn, independent, and has her big brothers (twin English Springers) wrapped around her little nose. Still not cuddly, but she loves everyone she meets and makes them feel that they are special. She has this "spineless dead possum" act she does when she doesn't want to go somewhere which is so cute but so manipulative (we're working on it). So quiet, she likes to sneak up and be standing at my feet while I'm looking and looking for her. I kinda wish she had a tail because I can't find her in the sagebrush like her tailed counterparts. Wish we had some still water because the rushing creek is too dangerous, though the cardis wade along the edge. They're just all sooo smart, and I'm challenged to keep their brains busy and bodies chugging along. It's fun to watch the little one just walk under the Springers and then jump on their heads. They're getting me in shape!
Yes, I have one, a red-headed, tri-color Pembroke and she is everything you say Corgis are, smart, athletic, and fun!
I lived with one for a few months. She was deaf, almost completely blind and such a sweet heart.
Corgis are the best! We love ours – she is definitely sassy and smart!
wow i love corgi but im getting one in july. i getting a PembrokeWelshCorgi
I love my Corgi! His name is Cornelius and he looks like Hammy but is larger boned. He’s the best dog ever!
Rat shit.
I have a Corgi Chihuahua mix. She is spoiled rotten! Everyone knows she is the boss and she is the sweetest girl 💜 She was a rescue which makes her even more special 😘
Welsh yorgie
I already have one
Dunno if it's a difference in countries, but at least in Sweden the Pembroke comes with stub tail, no tail or long tail. All are allowed, but they should always be bred with at least one parent being stub tail to preserve the trait. Having a long tail does not disqualify them from participating in dog shows for example.
Got my corgi from a registered kennel and of his litter he was the only one with a long tail.
I have a Pembroke Welch corgi her name is Maggie. What I love about corgis is there intelligent
She is the smartest dog
I would love to know how to train my Corgi to stop chasing our cats. 🐈
yes
Have two already! Love them Favorite thing–how affectionate they are.
I have had 5, 1988-2021. They are not for a novice owner. Before getting one research and spend time around a Corgi first. They come with a lot of pros but here are the cons. They shed not just some, but a huge amount year round, on your furniture, clothes, floor, car and in your food, a very good vacuum needed as well as change AC heat filters more often, might still have it clog your unit. They bark, a lot, at everything and nothing and their bark can be earsplitting and scare kids, they also "talk". They gain weight easily, good quality food in small amounts 2 times a day for adult( 2 and over). They do best with a yard, they are not a laid back breed at all, they are natural herders. They like to nip at ankles and chase especially kids, need training. When young, under 2-3, they can be very destructive if left alone too long, furniture, shoes, flooring, anywhere you sit or what you touch and wear is fair game for their teeth, they do not like being left alone too often. They are very smart and need an assertive, not mean, owner or they will train you. It is like this, you need to be the right owner for the Corgi, not the Corgi be the right breed for you.
Ребята кто подскажет как этот клипак на русский перевести?
We rescued a Chihuahua/corgi and he’s daddy’s best buddy
The corgi I live with is 1/4 Red Heeler. He’s definitely energetic, so I play with him often to get as much of it spent as possible. He’s very affectionate but also bossy. If you stop petting him he’ll be on you nudging your hand and wondering what you think you’re doing. He’s a huge chewer too. Goes through toys like crazy. We’ve settled on toy made with fire hose material, those seem to last the longest.
I HAVE A CORGI WAWA MIX. HANDS DOWN THE BEST DAWG I EVER OWNED ‼️☝️✔️
Like a hot dog
Omg the spotted one
Our 2 year old "Amy" is ridiculous. It was touch and go training her, but she's finally figured it out. She can be a real B-hole, and likes affection on her terms, but she's lovely and hilarious, and I'm totally on board with Corgis for life.
Corgi's originate from SWEDEN!!! They're herding dog and ALL corgis have tails, some people just decided to dock them. WE own a Corgi. My Wife family used to breed them.
I plan on getting one and making a service dog
What's the favourite thing. Easy. Endless hours of entertainment.
