I found my bengal didn’t need treats or clicker training for most tricks. Just the proper amount of eye contact, get them to associate the different tones of your voice (that’s mainly how cats communicate is different tones), and repetition.
I think my bengal isn’t that smart

If you don’t mind a cat that is very vocal and meowing all the time telling you all about everything, and if you are home most of the time, because they do not like being left alone for long periods, and if you are prepared to spend a lot of time for this high energy cat, playing and engaging with them, then this cat is for you. Please do your research before getting a Bengal. Don’t just get one because they are pretty. Bengals are a wild animal and domestic cat hybrid and they retain a lot of their wildness. They are not like normal domestic cats and may not be the cuddly lap cat you dream of although they are loyal and affectionate. I have a rescue Bengal because he was too much for his previous owners who abandoned him and he was traumatized because they bond fiercely with their humans. He is well adjusted now but irresponsible owners are the cause of much unnecessary stress and pain for these wonderful creatures.

😜 BENGALS ARE EASY COMMUNICATION! 😜I have two cats, a Bengal mix and a Persian mix. I have tried for years to put my finger on why I am so much more crazy about the 3/4 Bengal mix: 'Sweetie.' I finally figured it out. It is so easy to communicate with Sweetie. She is so intelligent. It's maybe better than communicating with humans because humans can lie.
With Sylvia, the Persian mix, I am often at a loss trying to figure out what she wants. But with Sweetie, things are always crystal clear. For example, when my precious Bengal wants something, she always goes to the place where that thing is kept and looks directly as me and meows until she gets it. She has a special meow for when she wants to play and so forth. She kisses me on command and boy! Can she read my mind! It's so easy to understand why people pay thousand$ of dollar$ for these great and beautiful animals.
