I am super fair skinned like you. I feel in love with the lightest shades in whatever formula she launched. I don't have any lip gloss and though that the super light shades wouldn't work on me. However, they work because of LISA'S MAGIC, and because they lean warmer than other brands I tried that pulled cooler and gave canceler lips look. I regret not having pompador instead of enchantment, because I got that and rain and to me they are the same (on me). The one I gave away was meet me in Berlin, due to my ignorance of buying something that makes me look with a sepia filter (my red tones). My favourites are from the super saturated, but I don't have new wave. That one seems fantastic, and carnival. I guess my favourite would be skyscraper rose and strawberry shock. I love ribbon and duchess but find it that I look too dressed up for the wardrobe that I currently have. My least favourite is night thoughts, but because it gives a bit of the vampy with sepia filter due to my undertone.
Reality is that everything I have (and I certainly don't have all her shades but I have a lot) I see them as art. They work somehow, but it is just how else I compose the rest of the look. As you mentioned, there is something about them, where color wheel theory just woks. I can't see myself buying more of her lip balms, and I regretted getting the red rather the fig one, just because it can be messy, but also because you need to reapply. It would be too expensive to use them up and constantly replace it.

Your videos have been such a helpful resource for me as I wanted to purchase my first Lisa Eldridge lipstick and didn’t know what I wanted—I thought I settled on rose official, as painterly always seemed to look too brown for my taste, but rose official seemed too pink for a true everyday. However this time I see painterly swatched it really looks like that perfect deeper nude shade I am looking for!

I love your LE lipsticks video's. I can watch them over and over again. I love le mepris and i noticed that the shade is alonst identical to the new baume shade in meet cute. I love that one to. ( even with the flavour). I love kitten mischief ( but I don't know were it is… it have to be somewhere in my pockets or purses, I have to find it) I mis it… I love velvet fawn really as a nude. I have a love hate relationship with velvet muse. Sometimes I love it and some days i think the color is not for me, depending on my mood and de other makeup i wear… My favorite formula in LE classic lipsticks is definitely the insanely saturated formula, it is so nice on the lips, feels so smooth and lightwaight but with maximum color. ( got the strawberry shock shade). And even with my fear for reds and bold colors on the lips. It will be my favorite red in my collection. I hope the weather will go from cold and rainy to sunny really soon than I will wear a colorfull blouse and my bright lipstick.
Totally agree with what you said about the balms. I just love seeing how these lipsticks look different on other people! Thanks for sharing! See, Intrigue & Meet Me in Berlin look wonderful on you but I wear them the least out of these. I'm a light neutral olive 9/9.5 in her foundation. Kitten Mischief is the exact color of my bare lips. I wear Muse the most, it's almost down to a nub; it's much pinker on you but on me it's pinkish brown and a 'my lips but better' type of shade. Cinnabar and Sorcery are my standout shades here along with Painterly & Spirited Away for a more casual look. Fawn is my nude lip for heavily made-up eyes. My other favorites are Dragon, Blush, Morning, Ribbon, Rainbow Spill, Skyscraper Rose, and Petal. I honestly have to make myself wear my others from different brands because I love Lisa's formulas/colors so much. I usually end up mostly just sniffing them because I love scented lipsticks lol. These comparison videos are so helpful! Spirited away is one of my favourite shades. It’s the perfect match when I’m wearing coral tones on the eyes and cheeks. It’s not a coral lipstick but has just enough of warm-cool balance. Describing it as a chameleon colour is very apt.

Spirited Away is my absolute favourite, there is something about this red (to me it is a version of red), it just has something that I have always been looking for and never found in another colour. I have almost all of her lipsticks, and if I could just pick a few, it would be Spirited Away, Muse and Sorcery plus Metropolis of the new line ( this shade also has something special about it idk what, but it is so it for me) .
My Fawn is so worn down that I have to use a lip brush to dig out the remaining remnants deep down the tube 😂 it’s well loved but you’ve given me some motivation to try others,

I may have to check out that Le Mepris as I love peaches — but does it have not much coverage and not last long ? I'm not a fan of my lips shining through. I have some pigmentation to cover on my lips, and sometimes mattes get monotonous… But maybe that's the only thing that will conceal my issues I dunno…. Thanks for the demo !! 😊❤️👄

I really love Lisa's lipsticks. Thank you for swatching so many of them! I just ordered the balm embrace in Epanoui and the Lucent in the classic rose color. I'm definitely a cool nude person, but the Velvet Painterly is probably my favorite from the entire line because it just goes with everything and is so comfortable to wear. I also like Velvet Duchess, Midnight, and Blush Lightly.
I think Velvet Sorcery applied more heavily really compliments your eyes and makes your eye color so rich! You say you blot it but I think it is just beautiful on you full force! For me, Rose Official goes in my nudes. I know it's pink to some, but its a nude-pink on me. Also, Spirited Away and Painterly are in my nudes, too.

I love Kitten Mischief! Warm, pinky nudes look best on me. I can do peach as long as it’s not too light, and it doesn’t have too much white in it. On me, Spirited Away looks straight up mauve unless I pair it with a brown liner. It was the shade I was most excited for, but it just doesn’t give me the effect I hoped for. Overall, I love her lipsticks! I hope Red Curve comes out in the luxuriously lucent formula.

My most worn Lucent is probably Kitten Mischief. I love peachy pink! I’ve never tried Meet me in Berlin because it’s never in stock! I know I’d love it! Meet Me in Berlin and Sorcery are the next two LE lippies on my “to buy” list. (Plus Epanoui!)
I think everybody's nude can be different. Velvet blush can look vampy on me and in one of Lisas's videos there was a model whose nude was this same colour. I have light to medium skin and I dislike very peachy/light toned concealer shades like the nudes of the 90' 😅

My favourite shade is Velvet Morning. My favourite formula is: either Luxuriously Lucent adding a touch of extra colour from a Velvet, or Velvet/Saturated with a lipliner, and if I want to add a bit of shine, adding a bit of the Luxuriously Lucent.
Love this series but wow your hair today is stunning! Like Cher in Moonstruck! Wearing kitten mischief today – definitely one of my top favorite LE shades. I keep debating getting velvet fawn but I have muse and they seem very close to me.

I always describe Spirited Away as a terracotta nude. The lightest nude from Lisa I have is Muse, Fawn and Intrigue look a bit like they might be too nude for me. I adore Affair…it has a touch of grunge which I love. And Sorcery….the queen of grunge nudes!

I’m not much of a nude lipstick wearer and most of these are, or turn, too peachy/orange for me (I have muted, slightly olive skin (Lisas foundation in 2.5 is a perfect match for me, but my skin is too sensitive for the formula)). However I do enjoy Muse and Painterly is on my wishlist, but my current favourite is Velvet Rain.
Hmm if we go with google description of what is NUDE lipstick color a lot of these are definitely not nude or at least not nude for fair skin tones. And almost all of LE's lipsticks are so orange and warm toned, not a single one that is a true neutral or cool even though they also can give youn a fresh lively look. And if even neutral tones pull of warm(er) on some people its like she totally exluded them.
I just ordered three new lippies along with my new Natasha gold palette 😂 but every time I see a video with Lisa lippies, I get really itchy to buy. I am definitely going to need to look into them as her colors look stunning. I was happy to hear a more comprehensive review of her new balms – they seem beautiful and comfy but not enough pigment for me 😂
The new Moisture Baume looks lovely BUT I am sensitive to coconut oil and LE mentioned this ingredient in them. But my favourite nudes are definitely Spirited Away, Muse and Blush (can I regard this as a nude?). Like you, I like a little depth of colour.
I love these videos! My favourite formula is the lucent, though I like the true velvet and the saturated ones too. I have a three lipstick rule for my handbag (which I breach with abandon) and atm two of the three are LE ( Rose official and Meet Cute) (the third is an SPF lippy) I haven't decided on a red yet and now need to consider Red Curve too. I haven't tried the liquid lips. Thoughts on those? X
