Ubisoft: making games for people who aren't gamers.
I mean that both in the fact that they have been catering more to shareholders than gamers, but also that the only people who are still buying their nonsense titles are casuals who buy games based on: "Oh yeah. Assassin's Creed! That's a game I've heard of."
Ugh gross corporate speak meant only for shareholders and investors. I think this is a future Blizzard on our hands in terms of downfall. No company lasts forever
I haven’t loved a Ubisoft game since far cry 3.
The last Ubisoft game I finished was ac syndicate. Ubisoft is the Disney of the games industry in terms of quality
Just pirate it, make them lose money
Shareholders are basically ruining the entire planet because they're all old people with no knowledge of the current climate. Unisoft is a perfect example of that
AC: Shadow is already doomed, they alienated large portion of players by design
Imagine how different things could have been if Ubisoft had poured their money into a remake of Splinter Cell instead.
And as far as AC Shadows goes and scratching my itch for a Japan-set game, I see no reason at all to be interested when Ghost of Yotei is waiting in the latter half of 2025 and is overwhelmingly likely to be a superior experience to yet another AC game.
Fuuuuuuuuuuu
This is why I call share and stake holders parasites, they give you in a sense a donation then expect their money back 50 fold, they don't contribute anything to a company. They only latch on to your success and demand you please them monetarily.
You're tripping if you think Shadows is going to be a mega-hit like Witcher 3.
Haha ubisoft sucks, i mean is a frech company so it makes sense their business failures
Gamers are an unforgiving fanbase. There are people that still hate Cyperpunk 2077 because of the terrible launch and refuse to play it now. Stating that the game should have been polished at launch. Assassin’s Creed is dead on release. Most gamers have already made up their minds that they do not like this game and will likely not look at anything else from it. Just release the game already and get whatever profits (or lose) you are going to get.
I identify as non-buy-nary.
People just love hating on Ubisoft, they have put out some fun games lately. Assassins creed Mirage was pretty good and a step in the right direction.
I really dont care about shadows, the only game im actually looking forward from ubisoft is prince of persia sands of time remake
They released a mediocre Star Wars game when the Star Wars franchise had already been beaten to death by Disney, then were surprised when people didn't buy it.
I feel like a major problem Ubisoft has is their pricing strategy. A lot of gamers know that every Ubisoft game is reduced within a few months, it’s not uncommon to see half price within 6 months so I never buy a Ubisoft game at launch even if I’m excited about it. Beyond Good & Evil remaster and Prince of Persia (both actually really good games) I got for £30 combined, I’m not paying £50-£60 for Shadows when I can get it for £20-£30 a few months later which hurts their short term sales figures which panics stupid investors like the ones you mentioned in the video
Ubisoft should get comfortable not having their games sold.
Making a game that takes place in a country that is rich in culture and tradition and getting said culture and tradition wrong because the ones working on it are lazy or incompetent. Sure Yasuke was a problem when they called it historically accurate but he is not even gonna be on the top 10 problem anymore
What was that space game Ubisoft teased in Watch Dogs 2? Did that get canned or something? I'm pretty sure it wasn't Starlink.
It's a good thing. Fear is a good motivator. Also, focus on your core fanbase instead of pandering to the far left
MAKE UBISOFT CHINESE AGAIN
RIP Ubisoft
You seriously think Shadows will succeed????? ha ha ha
Let’s be serious shadows will unfortunately be DOA
