I need help Jackson, I'm getting mixed signals from my cat. He was a feral cat living outside for 5 years, and I adopted him 3 months ago. He is doing well, eating well and using a litter box from day one. But he is afraid of everything; boxes, pillows, sofa, toys, bed, even windows. On the other hand he loves to be pet for long periods and rolls on the back. How can I make him feel more comfortable and safe in my home? Help…
I got my cat back in July from a rescue. She’s a little skittish but had more confidence then than she does now. We never had any issues with her until January. I had went over to my friends place to feed her 3 cats while they were away on vacation down south. We also have a friend that comes over once a week. He’s a drummer in my boyfriend’s band. Now anything that is soft and laying on the floor in the band room, she pees on. Her litter box is down in in the same room. I’ve since added a second litter box but placed one of them upstairs. When the band jams I keep her up in our loft bedroom with me and I make sure I play with her the entire time. I’m guessing she must be smelling the other guys cats. But they have been leaving stuff on the floor when they leave and she pees on those items. I’ve been using the feliway diffusers and she’s been a totally different cat. She doesn’t hide and comes around us more, but she’s always been skittish. How can I introduce my skittish cat to that guy so that she doesn’t see him or his cat smell as a threat so she can stop peeing on items??? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I lost a friend last month, my 2-year-old was jumping on the bed next to me to lie down with me when I slept soon after this happened.
Love the Caterwall! I noticed my indoor cat wailing at a big black cat outside my door, I scared him away.
I notice my cat sometimes grooms herself when I play with her.
Hi, Jackson.
I appreciate all you do to familiarize people with cats – you do a great job! Thank you sincerely.
I just want to tell you the story from our life about newcomers like babies. I got the proof that home cats KNOW about changing coming.
I have 4 cats at home, and my daughter had 2 at that time (now they all become ours for the allergy reason – we did not want our family members to get the separation stress, so..).
What I wanted to tell – some they our only female cat started to react to my visiting daughter very strangely. She would just stare at the girl with her mouth half open. At first we all just laughed at this behavior. Then started to wonder because every visit of my daughter was getting the same reaction from this cat. Then my daughter started getting nervous- Why you look at me like that every time, Phoenix?
After a while we all learned about my daughter pregnancy. On the very early stage! So Phoenix could see the very start of a new life! She soon stopped that reaction but continued to pay a lot of attention to the woman. Her cats didn't show much of knowledge, but treated the new baby very calmly like they also knew it would happen. When our grandson started to make first moving around, the cats would xalmly let him crawl over back and forth without any protest – like he would be their own kitten.
I just think we know very little about cats and their abilities.
Phoenix, for example, can USI on the very early days of a human pregnancy 😂
While listening to your video my cat thought you were in the house–he is a little stressed.
ugh we have 4 cats and one of them is a "bully" i have tried the plug ins and the stress drops and he won't stop stalking and harassing the other cats. i'm close to having the hard conversation with my child that we may need to get rid of him even though i don't want to 🙁
What would you do against the overgrooming? Play play play or any other ideas? The stressor is gone unfortunately. The other cat that attacked him had to leave, because it was not fair for them to be separated for almost 2 years and us not being able to get them back together, not even with your door method. She's gone for 3 years now and the overgrooming got really bad 3 years ago also, when he had fleas. The fleas were gone after 3 months or 4 but then he never stopped overgrooming
I need help. I had our cats for 3 years, now they are not getting along at all. They hiss at each other, this morning we were woken up by them fighting in the middle of the night. I need help!
Jackson, you are such a cool cat!!!!!!!!
I just love you and of course the kitty kids do, too…..Thanks for everything you do to help us translate and speak more fluent Catlish…..

I adopted two kittens from shelter 5 wks ago They were getting along with Ralph adapting easily, Fiona and he got along good after a few days, playing with Ralph being the frisking one. She doesn't like to be held but let me pet her. Ralph very affectionate. Then Fiona gets conjunctivitis. I had appt with my vet for both of them as Ralph started with the sneezing. I could not get Fiona in carrier. The vet gave me ointment for both to use in their eyes. Fiona ran every time I took step toward her. Long story short , co worker came by for 3 days after work and 1st night got her in carrier and took to vet and got drops… Unsuccessful in getting crusty eyes cleaned and drops in. Finally, I just gave up . She did come out for one day. Now for going on 2 days, she won't come out to eat. I am afraid she is starving herself and further no getting eye drops. So I just put her in a room by herself with litter box, food and water, with bed, condo and window. Ralph wants to play and be friends with her but she wants nothing to do with him or me . I have had cats for over 30 yrs. HELP
They also get urinary issues and blockages
❤thanks again
Few days ago I started using a hair treatment that was quite strong. Since that day one of my cats became unrecognizable. She is extremely stressed out and always sniffing and smelling all around the house. She is very scared . I tried everything to calm her down . I noticed that she is better when I wash my hair and remove that treatment…..
I wonder if that could cause her all this extreme stress. I took her to the vet and she is perfectly healthy. The vet said that he thinks that she is afraid.
Is it possible that the hair treatment can cause her so much stress?
I’m really disgruntled about the whole veterinarian situation. My cats suffer from upper respiratory issues because I often rescue some of my cats and I simply need an antibiotic. I took my cat to the vet. He charged me $90 for antibiotic that I saw online the same one for $24.99 and that’s just heartless. That’s ridiculous with their office fees as well and it’s gonna cause an epidemic of people having to wash their pets die because they can’t afford to take their pets in for an examination let alone the prescription that would have to be prescribed.. 😠
I have had Bombay cat for 21/2 years. She seems to be relaxing a little but continues to over groom. She has bare belly and legs. She does like interactive play with laser and dangling string of all kinds. I have tried different things. She also is a biter. She was a rescue cat at 3 yrs. Another owner had her for 3 years and now I have her. She hates being held. She has taught us what we can and cannot do with her. She is anxious when one of us leaves. I guess the Siamese in her causes her to be so anxious. 🤷🏻♀️
